My local. Initially you may consider this a biased review, however, this establishment is more a home than just a pub. The landlord and staff here over the years have always been kind, considerate and caring. Always attentive to their customers and serve amazing food. This is an incredibly friendly pub, with a great set of locals. People who are all dear friends. We were recommended to eat here by friends who spoke very highly of the food and we were not disappointed.

We arrived half an hour early but were attended to straight away by very friendly and attentive staff. I was very impressed that we were able to order the small Sunday roast lunch, I had lamb and my husband had turkey. All aspects were very well cooked, the potatoes were crispy, the vegetables done to perfection including the cauliflower cheese.

We shared dessert of pineapple rum cake with mango sorbet and orange set cream.

It was all delicious and our experience was enhanced by Molly our server who took the trouble to ask our names as we chatted to her and remembered them when we left.
