Going Greek — Restaurant in Hertsmere

I ordered a large lamb kebab and this is what I received. I did ask for the tomato and cucumber to be removed, however what I received was definitely not worth £11.49, plus delivery £12.06. There was hardly any lamb in there at all and I basically paid for a empty pita bread and some onion. Joke, avoid and go to a kebab shop instead. I would give 0 starts if I could.

I know I asked for the tomato and cucumber to be removed, however how does that justify paying £12.06 for 5/6 tiny pieces of lamb? Take the constructive criticism from paying customers and improve your customer service, instead of always trying to argue back with things that do not make sense. Always a fantastic meal to be had in going greek and by far one of the healthiest "fast foods". The food is always fantastic and frech. The staff are so lovely, friendly & extremely helpful. There is one lovely young greek girl who works here and is very good at guiding you on the menu if you are not sure what to order. I popped in to pick up a takeaway and it took 10 mins. It wasn't very busy eating in but they do a huge trade for takeaway. Plenty of tables free and a few families were dining in as its very child friendly. Their hummus Muhammara & tzatziki is delicious! We had the naked halloumi souvlaki with fresh greek salad and bulgar. With feta fries it was all delicious and a real treat! Really poor experience, main meal wasn’t freshly cooked and the staff forgot about my side order when I was the only person in the place.

The only other time I went was earlier in the year and I found the food and presentation to be good for what it is i.e. fast food. They previously served the food on trays and made some effort for the presentation. This time around it felt rushed with no consideration for the person/customer receiving it, which is confusing considering I was the only person in the place at that time.

The main meal was lamb souvlaki, the chips were lukewarm and had clearly been left out for a while, the lamb wasn’t fully cooked. The side order that they forgot was the only freshly cooked meal, but I suspect I got lucky.

In total I paid £23.05 for one...
