I went here for lunch on a Saturday lunchtime. We were the only ones in here, which didn't bother me either way. We had king prawns with garlic and butter for starters. Which were meaty and tasty. Cooked well. For mains I went for chicken shish which was served with perfectly cooked rice and salad. It was cooked well and tasted good. The Boyff had lamb minced meat with special herbs and pistachio rolled yufka bread served with yoghurt, which he said was really nice. They had a decent enough selection of drinks and wine list too. Went to this restaurant with friends on Saturday night and what a pleasant surprise we had. We hadn't been there since before Lockdown and it was OK then, but on Saturday we found that the place had been extended, redecorated, new seating - very comfortable despite my bad back, new cutlery, in fact new everything. The service was good, friendly and attentive, and the food was very tasty, there was plenty of it and it was all served with a smile, which makes all the difference. The bill was accurate, although I noticed that they hadn't charged us for two lemon teas, told them about it and they said "don't worry". Will we be going there again? Absolutely, I have a birthday coming up and will be booking the meal there if they have room for us. Well Done Divan...

This place has it all, great approach as the smell of grill pumps out across the street, excellent front of house, greatest food and plenty of extras- bread, olives, baklava, that make this so welcoming. This is busy up market, but not pretentious. The staff are like an orchestra. The place was so busy that I, a solo diner, was gently asked if I minded sitting at the bar, Thursday night, no worries - a better chance to see the brilliance of the grill to plate excellence. There is genuine pride and quality at work here. Staff seem really on top of stuff and proud of what they do. So busy, so energetic, makes you realise that most of the other places you’ve been to are nothing in comparison....
