nice place to have a drink but not recommended to go with your children but saying that is not a bad place to have a pint with your friend or your girlfriend if you like ciders and ales and beer, down the high Street is borehamwood studios well-known for old English films and dramas and comedy and along the high Street a lot half Turkish restaurants and takeaways yum yum...

I had previously visited this pub when it was named The Wishing Well, and was a friendly local pub. However since visiting recently I would now avoid, staff are non-attentive and rude, the atmosphere is also not welcoming.

This is a 'locals/regulars' pub. The beer was decent though, so is a shame how they operate this pub. Prices are also pretty standard...

Now known as The Good Companion. Recently refurbed, but not much has improved. Cheap opening drinks prices, but very limited choice of beers. Our beers were definitely sour and had to be returned.
