We spent a wonderful Mother’s Day with our elderly parents today. It could not have been any better. A wonderful welcome, a super team looking after us, the most elegant of surroundings, with history all around us. Wonderful food, plus boxes to take away what was left. Lovely lovely lovely! Fantastic ambience, quiet and quaint, well-maintained. Super friendly service. Awesome tea, sandwiches, and cakes, and the smaller sized scones were perfect, given the huge spread. Highly recommend. We were a party of 9 and they took care of us really well, right from emailing back and forth about our vegetarian and kid-friendly requirements.
