Fast Food, not anymore! Since the restaurant changed about a year ago from having the food prepared and ready in the front food bin to now being made behind the counter the speed of service as gone downhill to the point when some mornings you are waiting 10 minutes for something that should take about 1. The workers are friendly enough but the whole system is shambolic. Instead of keeping the food ready and made at the front in the hot food bin, the food now sits behind the counter in hot trays and is made so called âfreshâ even though its no real difference sitting for 20 mins in a hot tray behind the counter to the old system in the front food bin. Last week there was 1 person serving on the till, there were about 15 orders on the screen with no one making anything and just serving drive thru customers. I am not sure if the issue is not having enough staff on at once or just having a rubbish system of making food but the change since last year is frustrating and just standing in the queue you can count the number of people moaning every week about the service. Sort it out McDonald's and go back to being a FAST...
   Read moreThis is the fourth time in less than a month where my food has not been prepared as ordered. I use the drive-thru service regularly and have had this issue before. Today I ordered a double quarter pounder meal and in return received a normal quarter pounder and small fries having paid for the doubles quarter pounder large meal. Normally I'd check my order but was driving so couldn't. Last time they managed to get our breakfasts wrong even though we paid for a customised order. I have sat in this branch and I often have to go back and get items left off my original orders. It is getting quite annoying now! Only postive is that the cleaning ladies are fantastic, very polite and curtious. Will be checking my food at the drive thru paying window in future before driving off. Shame really as this will cause delays both to myself and to the fast...
   Read moreSometimes okay, sometimes just awful. Just this morning they opened up late and after I ordered my food was told they were still setting up so would be a few minutes. Okay, not a problem. 15 minutes later they're still not done, a few other orders after mine have come and gone including the same items I ordered, I ask for my order to be cancelled and refunded and pretty much get told "no, it's coming". Then when it comes no apology or anything. Absolutely awful service like that a lot of the time.
Other times there's been items missing, or long waits with no explanation, or various other issues and almost none of the staff have any customer service ability (with one or two exceptions). Honestly, 9 times out of 10 you won't have a problem but that 1 time... Just wow. It's more than enough to deserve 1*, as that's the level of service...
