Good atmosphere for a Friday but still quite empty, male staff very professional and smart at reception when greeted and when taking you to you’re table and welcoming you through. Ordered lamb chops and truffle chips which were delicious, also ordered the special steak which was cooked on our table with a chef. Very disappointed, the steak was so over cooked and dry. The lamb chops and chips came way before the steak was cooked so the food got cold while we were watching the fire show of our steak being cooked, timing needs to be worked on, we also had to ask for cutlery twice which is a basic need on a table! Waited 40 mins for our Shisha, no one explained the coal was needed to be placed on after 5-10 mins also Ordered the Turkish pistachio desert which was very delicious and lovely the way it was chopped up and served. Moved table to other side with more ambiance for Shisha, male staff not attentive at all re bringing Shisha and the bill, had to ask for this 3 times for each, staff very not interested at all, few boys just laughing and giggling in the back near the Shisha area so unprofessional the door opens often and it was freezing. Staff need to be trained to speak correct English & be more professional if you guys classify you’re selves as a high end restaurant with extortionate prices which the food does not even half match.. Good selection of music, no idea what the DJ was doing, he’s name was DJ dhilz, he wasn’t mixing the songs at all, just randomly playing them so there were a lot of pauses and loud starts. The music was way too loud, perhaps other DJs were better. He wasn’t accommodating either, when I went up to the DJ box to leave he looked away lol, please change this DJ. Fair play you guys have portrayed you’re venue on social media as so amazing, I must say videos and images look great but I’m sorry, customer please don’t be fooled, it’s not what it shows it is. Social media is there for this reason. I also vomited when I got home, Sorry to be so harsh but it’s the truth, I give this place a 2 stars, honestly very disappointing.

I visited Vue Lounge with 8 friends, and here’s my honest and balanced review. We started with buffalo chicken wings, Caesar chicken salad, and mini burger sliders, which were good and set a promising tone. The mix grill was also enjoyable. However, the main course was a major letdown. We ordered 2 slow-cooked lamb shoulder, which was cooked perfectly, but the chef forgot to season the meat. For a dish costing £80 each, you’d expect proper sides, but all we got were a few tomatoes, thin slices of courgettes, and two or three spears of asparagus for decoration. No gravy, no sauce, and no rice were included. When we ordered rice separately, it turned out to be sushi rice, which was completely out of place for a Turkish restaurant. Adding to the frustration, I ordered 8 chilli sauces, and they charged £9 for them. This prompted me to check if they had also charged for ketchup. The service was consistently poor. We had to ask multiple times for cutlery, and when we raised our concerns about the lamb shoulders, the supervisor kindly offered to replace them, but it was too late as we had already lost our appetite. The dessert and Tea was complimentary, which we appreciated,. They served one tea pot between 8 people..(very generous!) The best thing about the food was the lovely photos, which make it look appetising. Unfortunately, the experience doesn’t match the visuals or the taste. The chips were good –in fact excellent compared to the rest of the food - as you’d expect, few slices of potato’s on hot oil, can do wonders. Drinks were served in tiny 200ml Coke bottles, priced at £5 each. This felt like a sneaky way to overcharge for something standard. Not sure why the restaurant thinks customers are stupid! Overall, the experience was so disappointing that for the first time in my life, I did not pay the service charge. We had a bill of £428. For the premium prices charged, you expect high-quality food and service, but instead, it felt more like the experience of a local Turkish kebab shop. – I certainly won’t be returning.

I am very very surprised this place is only rated 3.7*? Shocking. We had an overall 5* experience at this wonderful restaurant. Their concept is great, quality Shisha & steaks? great combination. As we entered the lady at the front desk wasn’t very welcoming or friendly however the waiters were all so friendly, bubbly and welcoming and gave exceptional customer service throughout the whole night. We were a group of 6 so we ordered quite a lot of dishes. We ordered the “special fillet minion” which comes with a full show, WOW! That guy was so impressive. Salt bae who?! We absolutely loved our fire show experience where the steaks were cooked in front of us and moving to the music. The goats cheese salad and truffle Parmesan fries were DELICIOUS and extremely flavourful and complimented the steak as sides very well. One of our group also ordered the Tomahawk and another ordered the chicken, all full of compliments! The Shisha’s were amazing, great quality! they lasted a long time and didn’t burn out. The coal was refreshed regularly. The desserts were INSANELY delicious! We had some birthdays in the group so they play music, sparklers and all the waiters come around and clap which is so lovely, their energy is infectious! Then the same guy that was doing the steak show came to do another show with the desserts, we ordered baklava and pineapple. All absolutely amazing and the show was fantastic again! This guy is very talented and a valuable asset to your restaurant. The restaurant is reasonably priced for what you get and the portions are good. It’s basically a more affordable version of Nusr-Et but MUCH better show, atmosphere. The restaurant is very big so plenty of space, beautifully decorated and absolute quality throughout. Highly recommend this place, we will definitely be coming back!

Booked this restaurant as heard nothing but good things about and from their posting on social media, I had such high expectation of the place and food.

Firstly, they're almost impossible to get through over the phone and so you find yourself going on your personal Instagram to have to contact them which I found quite unprofessional but not shocked as they have built their credibility on there from the influencers that have been there.

All good on arriving at restaurant- got sat at the very end table overlooking the kitchen and right from sitting down, we’re both covered in the smell of food. Requested to be moved to a different table and the waiter said he’d be back and that was the end of it. The waiter allocated to our table was really nice and did his very best to make our stay as nice as possible but was failed by his team members.

We ordered our starters that were brought and immediately while in the middle of having the starter, mains were brought out too so felt a bit rushed. The BBQ ribs were quite mediocre for the price, found ourselves sending ¾ of it back as it had no taste or flavour. Hummus very bland with stale bread which again we sent back and no questions were asked on why none of the starters had been finished. For the mains we had lamb chops which were the best thing had in there, ordered what they call fries which turned out be chips with some mixed spicy herbs thrown all over them and parmesan all over it which were sent back in full apart form the spicy chips but no question. Ordered the Turkish baklava desert which the waiters are supposed to cut in half and cover it with the ice cream in the middle but with us, it was dropped on the table and all was said was “there you go” by one of the waiters.

Happy to say I requested for the service charge to be excluded as was not going to pay for an unsatisfied service received. Once bill paid, off we were dismissed. Staff seem to only care about the influencers and their opinions, actual real paying customers aren’t given the time of the day and it’s a real shame.

Overall beyond disappointed with the level of service received and food that is extremely overpriced for the standards they’re delivering the food for. It’s Willesden high street Turkish food delivered at a central London restaurant price. For what we had, I did not think it was worth £98+. Definitely would not recommend this to anyone nor go back there- a totally...

We were a big group and some of us came from out of town and have dined in similar places like this; Etci Mehmet Manchester. The concept is very similar to Etci Mehmet minus the shisha area. As a seasoned steak eater who enjoys her steak medium rare from good cuts of meat…. I can honestly say I was not impressed. For the price they were charging I was expecting more. I certainly didn’t expect my steak to be dry and lacking that familiar flavour. And many of our friends also felt their food was dry, lacking flavour and the burgers were too doughy. The baklava was tasteless and nothing like what we have had in other establishments. The waiters, as polite as they were to do their best were overwhelmed by the order system and that reflected in the timing of the food, drinks, cutlery, glasses and drinks coming out. Several requests were sent for glasses when the jugs of water arrived at the table. The sauces arrived 10minutes after the steaks/ mains were served. Sides came out much later after the main meal was served. And we even had one person get her food much much later when we were all tucking into our main dishes.

The place was unkept with litter under the tables and the toilets were awful; water everywhere!

The manager was very attentive and listened to our complaints. To be fair he did what he could to send his customers away heard having taken on board our comments and complaints. And because of that reason I’ve given 3 stars. I would have given 2 if the manager was not attentive.

I think staff need more training and support to manage big groups and to ensure they are in control of the dining experience for their customers. The manager needs to always be scanning every table to see that the waiter is able to manage that group from beginning to end. Kitchen staff need training and support to ensure every meal has its sides delivered to the table on time. Kitchen staff also need to look at the quality of the food they send out; is it succulent or overcooked and dry?

Overall, the evening was not a total disaster but there is a lot of room for improvement especially when there are other establishments offering similar dining concepts. To stay in this industry you have to make sure your customers keep coming back because the food was excellent, the service was excellent. People are willing to pay the price if the food and service lives up to that...
