A great find! Excellent place with great atmosphere to enjoy a beer. Exceptional choice of well kept real ales, ciders and gins with amazingly friendly, knowledgable service by the lovely Annie and great conversation with the owners of the business Tim & Jane. Tim brews his own beer, which is a popular, local choice but unfortunately his latest brew had already sold on Sunday evening. Free warm Scotch pancakes with butter were availble to patrons -this sort of offer being a popular, regular feature. Good, clean facilities as well - always a bonus! My favourite pub for miles! The staff are so friendly and welcoming, the drinks selection is fantastic including over 70 gins and a wide range of rum and whiskey. They do cheese boards and pork pies as well, perfect with a wine or a pint! I often come here with family, but also happy to come alone as I've made friends with the staff and the regulars, so always have a fantastic chat! Theres even a great selection of board games and cards to play:) Couldn't fault this pub, 10/10 service, atmosphere and people. Lovely little pub. Excellent friendly service, good atmosphere and cosy. Visited for the night, went for a couple of drinks before a meal. We found ourselves welcome and comfortable.

Lots of choice, drinks ranging from beers to alcohol free. Great locals, chatted to some and got lots of recommendations for future visits to the Peaks!

The owner is lovely, found out a bit more about the place and how it came about which is always nice when visiting a new area.
