McDonald's — Restaurant in Huntingdonshire

This really is the most dismal screw-up of a McDonald’s I’ve ever visited anywhere globally (I’m deadly serious in my contempt for this outlet). The dysfunction in here is unbelievably bad. The last three times I’ve tried to call in here and order a hot drink whilst driving by the place just before midnight, it’s swarmed with a mix of people waiting for orders and others being told that the place will likely not be able to accept any form of payment for anything for anywhere between 30 mins and 2 hours. This is delivered by staff who talk to you as though a request to place an order from a 24 hour outlet is somehow ridiculous.

What they do each night to send everything offline at this specific branch (whilst every other I’ve ever called in at seems to have no issues) is totally beyond me, but my advice is to not even bother wasting your time with the place late at night, unless you also want to be spoken to as though you’re a massive...

Went here on a long journey for a decent coffee. It was just before midnight and all the self-service computers were turned off. There were loads of staff stood around having a laugh, including the manager on duty, who didn't smile once and took one of the tills away to cash up. Throughout there was music playing near the fry station that was so loud we had to shout to make ourselves heard. The guy on the till misheard our order twice because of the music and I passed a comment that it might be easier if the music wasn't so loud. When the order was completed I asked to speak to the manager and complained about the volume of the music and was told it was only for one song; which wasn't true as we had stood waiting for our drinks (as the only customers) for seven minutes. By far the worst mcdonalds establishment I have ever visited. I popped in for a late night dinner after doing a 19 hour shift at work. Wasn't worth the money in the slightest. Chips were stone cold and hard, as though left on the side for a length of time. My cheesy bites were missing the dip that came with them. My burger was cold and terribly dry. Also contained onions when I specifically asked for no onions. It even says "no onions" on the box (luckily it's just a case of me not liking them rather than a serious allergy). And to top it all off, my coke was flat and warm. Dreadful service from the young lad there. Just shouted my number and pushed the bag across the side to me without a word.
