I decided to order my family a KFC as a treat before the kids went back to school after the Christmas holidays. I placed the order online and it was delivered via an Uber driver. However, the order was missing two cans of drink and a 1.5ltr bottle of 7up. Not only that, my youngest son's meal was totally missing. Needless to say the poor little boy was disappointed and we ended up having to divvy up the remaining meals in order to feed him something. As soon as we noticed the errors with our order, the Uber driver was nowhere to be seen, nor was he contactable in any way, despite me sending several messages and calling him. I then tried calling the local KFC where the order was placed. I rang them on more than five occasions and nobody picked the phone up once. I then decided to contact KFC via Instagram and once again, totally ghosted and no reply. As a last resort and at my wits end I decided to attempt to contact KFC via their contact form. Having filled out the form twice and attaching the online order details as an attachment, the form does not actually submit and the complaint never actually goes through. I just found the whole thing a total shambles. I understand that mistakes are made, but I couldn't resolve the issue and get the missing meal and drinks sent out on the same evening as I couldn't get through to anyone. I would've been happy with this as a resolution, but I'm frustrated that I can't get through to anyone. Having been a customer for over 25 years I've had enough problems with KFC that I have finally given up using them. Avoid. I'll know better next time and go somewhere else, and for less money too
Update - if you had read my review properly you would see that I tried calling several times, how will calling again help when no one picks up the phone? It's just a copy...
Read moreWas feeling hungry so I went there for a quick bite to eat. Service was okay. Food came out in a big box in a bag and I had a drink $9.99 for a burger. One chicken strip chips gravy Pepsi mix popcorn and it was okay. Just had a gravy box and it was quite good actually and a barbecue wrap quite small The only downside of it was it was us about six popcorn chicken and it was tiny. The other downside the packaging was massive. Must have been a whole forest. There was a giant bag in that was a box in the box. There was a burger in a box chips in a little bag. The bit of chicken in another little bag. The popcorn in a little box napkins and it was just so much rubbish waste afterwards. So KFC. What do you need to do is cut down on the rubbish. You don't need all them bags and boxers just put the chicken and the burger and the chips loose in one packet. Put your gravy in a pot. Save yourself money. Yes, it's recyclable some of it but there's no need to have that much wastage in paper. Well...
Read moreFillet box meal; gristly and soggy chicken piece, bit into it and was almost translucent with fatty jelly. Fillet burger was an overcooked, dry brown disc, slotted between a century-old bun with little to no lettuce and a lovely dollop of mayo to at least provide some flavour. About 10 fries in the bag also. KFC again proving itself to be the worst, most inconsistent UK fast food chain. I suppose that because the head office clearly doesn't care, the quality of food is dependant on the franchise managers and how much effort they and the team put into a good food service. Will never be ordering from here again. Support your local bossman instead, they know how to actually...
