Went to Mc Donald’s today to get food, as everyone knows you’ve got to go through the three stages of the ordering process. First you have the ordering at the intercom, so while here you order your food as everyone knows, when pulled up was given a greeting asked if they did there Carmel frappe which surprisingly they did have very rare occurrence with mc Donald’s asked for one of these and then the rest of my order which included two meals and Carmel pies. Second phase is the paying where they read out the order to you everything was read out to me except the Carmel frappe I asked was this on the order it was I was told paid and moved on. This takes us to the last phase the collection point whilst here was greeted by two employed one telling me the Carmel syrup for the frappe machine needed changed and would be a wait as they required a technician to come and changed the syrup in the machine asked how long was told 5 minutes and could wait or change the drink for another I said I’ll wait.
This is ok was then handed my food I said to the server wouldn’t my food be cold by the time I get the drink which was ordered to have with my warm food she said she’ll have to get her manager that is ok. I waited to be greeted by a roar from the manager who didn’t even have the decency to come to the window and shout across to me that my drink Is coming and it’s not his fault that my food will be cold I said to him I’m not looking for an argument and your shouting at me all I asked was that my food be kept warm till I receive my full order which I ordered and went through two stages of ordering before someone could tell me that my drink will not be made for another 5 minutes. He ( who I later asked for his name which he give as Steven, not sure if this is true looked more like a Gary but didn’t have a name badge on so Steven) continued to be aggressive towards me telling me that he can give me a refund and take the food back and I can drive on I again said I’m just looking for my food to be kept warm and given to me with my drink. Steven then told me that it’s not his fault that the food can be cold In an hour ( I live 5 minutes drive away don’t know where Steven is getting his information from but his sources are wrong ) he proceeded to say that it isn’t his fault and that if I eat it in an hours time it will be cold then nothing they can do, I said I ordered my food I came past 3 employees before I was told that my drink which was ordered will not be ready and asked that my food be warm when served with my whole order is what I want and expect and still nothing he said that the drink is coming and they can’t take the food back once it’s been handed out bearing in mind it was still sealed and in the packaging and the drink will come shortly I said but your staff told me 5 minutes my food will be cold but again Steven couldn’t understand this and expect people to eat cold food but what can you expect when they require a technician to come and change a syrup bag in a machine .
I got home and my food as I predicted was freezing not worth the money paid to pay Steven’s salary. And do not come to pay for abuse if I did I would go to...
Read moreCustomer service in this McDonald's has never been great but today they sunk to an all new low. I ordered on the app and was waiting on my order being brought out to the designated parking space when a member of staff wearing a Scania jacket knocked at the window and asked me to move as they had a delivery to unload, at this point the lorry driver had pulled up tight to my passenger side of my vehicle. I explained I was waiting on my order and he said he would tell them he moved me to the car park. He then proceeded in to the store looking for the driver of a car parked in the disabled bay and asked her to move her car for the lorry. How is this acceptable? When our food was ready a member of staff brought it out and had no idea who it was for and stood looking lost at the corner of the building as our food got cold. Mr Scania jacket hadn't passed on the message he had moved us. We called to her and got our food but when we explained we had been moved and the fella said he would let them know and obviously didn't her response was, the lorry needs to come in. 6pm on a Saturday evening isn't exactly the most appropriate time for a delivery. All round the service was shocking. McDonald's obviously find their deliveries more of a priority than their customers and the fact that on any level they felt it was acceptable to ask someone parked in a disabled bay to move their car is nothing short...
Read moreAbsolutely disgusted with the food we have been given , and not for the 1st time this has happened many times in the passed year , but tonight we ve decided to report the facts that happened this eve . We completed an app purchase everything was ordered clearly and concisely , we collected at drive through 2 quartet pound cheese meals , a coke and tea with some sauces , when we drove to our driving spot , approx 40 meters away .. we opened the box and were so angry to find that chips were all but stone cold, burgers were less than lukewarm (health hazard) and sauces and sugar were all missing. We did not go back to complain as we are both simply fed up with this branch providing frankly dangerously heated food to customers ... this represents a distinct lack of training and or awareness of what the minimum of food quality should be , McDonald's crescent link should be ashamed of their service as standards are not what they once were at McDonald's, we won't be calling again and customers need also to learn u need to vote with your feet as these branches are just getting away with doing a job not actually doing the job , I could easily have put in 10 different complaints over passed 6 months about this branch but each time I was in a rush but tonight was different. I am completely open to a conversation with...
