This cafe is set within the most beautiful architecture of an original victorian shoe shop. The window displays are super which invites the individual inside to a cafe that has highly polished parquet flooring and a 1930"s style theme of tables chairs and potted palm style plants. The interior has been lovingly restored leaving stained glass panels and original items on display upstairs from the original shop. There is seating downstairs or up an elegant staircase to the upstairs seating where the feature window can be open on warm days. It should be noted that the toilet is upstairs. The menu is very varied and also includes a super breakfast menu. The food has lovely flavours and is beautifully presented. There is a wide tea and coffee options with stronger options from a lovely mirrored bar area. The staff are very friendly and helpful. A must to visit really to enjoy a...

A lovely little cafe housed in what was once a Victorian shoe shop. Came here for dinner on our first night on Cowes, and then returned for breakfast the next day. Hot rocks steaks were very enjoyable, and I liked the option that allowed for multiple cuts at slightly smaller sizes for a comprehensive 'steak experience'. The chips were splendid, but the garlic bread was a little limp and doughy. The breakfast was excellent (do treat yourself to a bonus IOW sausage) but make sure that you book in advance as the eatery is not particularly big and it's very popular. Fairly priced, a little more expensive than the greasier spoons down the street, but not overly so and definitely worth it. They also do fruit juice by the pint, which was very welcome indeed.

Going back again for breakfast (they do pancakes...

Whilst staying in west cowes on a family holiday, I tried several times to book a table for lunch. They had tables outside but they wouldn't allow us to move a chair to accommodate 7 of us even though it's now Oct 21. Today again we tried but was turned away by a rather aloof rude young man and young lady informing me that they were fully booked, I could see that they had tables available. I guess that they really dont want business seeing that there were 7 of us. Never mind !! I hope that the manager gets to read this and takes...

The best breakfast you will ever have! The staff is amazingly incredible. They take care of the small details making you feel like home! The food was probably the best breakfast we had ever had - £9 and totally worth the price. Locally sourced ingredients made 100% the difference. The camomille tea was 10/10. The building is amazing inside, super cared and clean! I cannot recommend enough to make this the first stop of your day!
