Didn't go in, have been before. Not often open except for events. Impressive internal decor, well run. The surrounding park, also very well managed, has sea views & beautiful trees & is a popular dog-walking spot & a haven for red squirrels. House and park are run largely by a team of fantastic volunteers. The IoW Literary Festival normally takes place in Northwood House. St Marys Church on the edge of the park is interesting, as is the adjacent former Lodge, recently auctioned as a private residence and undergoing renovation to the exterior stonework and garden.
