Was really looking forward to our meal here as was a goodbyes meal for m6 child going to uni, booked asked for access as I’m in a wheelchair user and asked if they could cater for my vegan gf diet. We hadn’t heard anything so chanced attending (looked at menu with did indicate vegan dish ). No wheelchair access which the waitress apologised saying they had a ramp but hadn’t read our requests fir access or meal. There wasn’t anything I could eat, no gf ( I’m celiac) so rather than spoil the meal i asked for a salad which is all they could offer. I spoke to two members staff in detail for them to make me something with ingredients they already had, mushrooms, broccoli, tomatoes, olives, onion, to put in the salad to make it a main meal. I waitress really struggled with this concept so I asked her to ask the chef to make me something up, I stated I didn’t want a bowl of salad leaves. I received a bowl of leave smothered in oil with tomatoes and onion. Waitress asked if this was ok which I told her it wasn’t what I expected….I had to leave it at that while my family ate pizza . To be fair there’s was lovely. For such a nice restaurant I cannot be but disappointed that the chef could not throw together a decent plate of food from what they had. Don’t go to this restaurant if you have dietary issues….they cannot accommodate and are not flexible. Do go if you like pizza, the family...

What a fantastic place this is.

Not only is the pizza just the most insane pizza it's at your table in seconds. The service is impeccable and the wine is not to shabby either. There really isn't much we can comment on.

My only advice is to try and book early (we had a table at 9:15) and it became quiet very quickly which lost a bit of ambience. This however isn't anything to do with the restaurant which is why it's 5 stars all round.

A perfect place to frequent after a walk or a few beers on the canal.

We had Nduja, margerita and the anchovy pizza. Be aware the anchovy pizza comes without cheese but they did remind us at the table. Can recommend all as well as some of the crust dips. Tiramisu for dessert was also a delight!! (Apologies pizza pictures wouldn't share for...

Food was great but not the best service given from the staff member that served us. We were walk in customers with no booking made but was advised there was a table free which was rare. When we had ordered and our food came we were rudely told we had 15 minutes to eat it until the table needed to be used for a booking (this was never mentioned when we arrived or first sat down). We were treated as though we were an inconvenience and the staff member serving us was very abrupt and rude. If it was too much of a rush to squeeze us in then they should’ve made us aware before sitting us down or told us it was not possible to fit us in. Walk ins are still customers just as much as bookings. We are locals but unfortunately can’t say we will be coming back after...

The fact that the photos I've shared here represent a mere fraction of the number of times I've visited says it all really... Authentic Neopolitan pizza, reasonably priced and with a seasonally rotating menu of locally-sourced toppings and small plates. Options to collect for takeaway or sit in the lovely dining area centred around a wood-fired oven - plan and book ahead for both as this place is very popular locally and beyond! Service is fast and cheerful, and Anello provides the perfect setting for anything from date nights to celebrations to family lunch. I can't overstate how much of a gem this place is - stop reading this and get booked in ASAP!

I’ve eaten here 10+ times and always bring none local friends when I get the chance. Incredible place with an attentive happy staff. Pizzas are always as fresh as they are incredible. The drinks selection is generous, the menu has some new experiments every time I go whether it be the deserts, sides or specials; creating a unique dining experience every-time. The place is stylish and modern, visibly well cared for and hyper local to the rest of Slaithwaite. Across from a wine bar and within 2mins walk of at least 6 great places to grab a drink before/after. Will continue to eat here at every opportunity
