I decided to treat my family to a quick meal, and we headed to a nearby deli and coffee shop. However, our initial disappointment set in as we couldn't spot any vacant seating areas. Just as we were considering leaving, a thoughtful and friendly young staff member approached us and promptly arranged a table and chairs, saving our dining experience.

The food we enjoyed turned out to be just as delightful as the unexpected assistance we received. A lovely quaint little coffee shop in the centre of Holmfirth. It was relatively busy but we found a quiet table at the back. It is waitress service. We both ordered paninis and sparkling water. A darn good job as I might have missed out on the delicious cumberland sausage baguette the wonderful people of Beatties cooked up this morning, which I was more than ready for after 3 hours of non stop pedalling from Sheffield.
