Domino's Pizza - Heckmondwike — Restaurant in Kirklees

Ordered from here after pizza hut failed to impress me in a last bid effort for me to realise why people like pizza hut or dominos, anyway ordered online was very easy and the online system is pretty good i was very impressed, then it went bad, just like majority of reviews on here the food came in about an hour after placing order, online it said the food was going to be delivered by mohammad lol was waiting for mohammad to turn up but when i opened the door there mohammad was with long hair and makeup lol only kidding it was a polish girl i think and after that i tucked in to this pizza, with my expectations lower than the bottom of the pacific ocean i took my first bite, the food was just plane and dull and lackluster and depressing i would never eat this even if i was staranded in a hot dessert, id rather eat the hot burning air and sand, the food looked ok bit dry but the choc pizza was ok, no wonder they give the second for £1 because the first order you place is worth that much anyway, overall it was pretty crappy id say not worth it at all, i till this day do not know why leople go here to eat a margerita pizza when its overpriced and full of dull tasteless cheap tomato puree and cheap asds cheese topping and they charge almost £14 for one lmao, id say stick to asdas margerita pizzas the freshly made ones which cost 50p and that will have more flavour then this place and pizza hut combined, also id rather order from a asian takeaway which has alot more real food and variety and its packed of awesome flavours and no extra VAT smacked on all for an average price of around £3 to £4, please consider this review as i do not want the rest of britain to suffer from this horrible pizza places. I rang two weeks in advance to arrange a large order for a local primary school. I was told that no discounts could be offered for schools as pricing is set by head office, but that I should call on the day to place the order. He advised ringing as soon as they opened to allow enough time to prepare it.

On the day, I called as instructed, but the person on the phone told me I had to place the order through the app. One of the pizzas needed to be gluten free, and I wanted to make sure this was correctly ordered—but the gluten free option wasn’t showing on the app. When I explained this, he told me it wasn’t his problem, that it was a head office issue, and to “just refresh the button.” I explained that I’m familiar with the app and refreshing didn’t work. I asked if they had gluten free bases in stock, and he said yes. I even checked another nearby Domino’s branch where the gluten free option was showing, and asked if I could please place the order over the phone instead.

His response? “Go to the other Domino’s then, we don’t care.” Before I could say anything else, he hung up on me.

This was minutes before I was due back to teach my class, who had been excitedly looking forward to the pizza they’d helped raise money for. I would have hoped local businesses could work supportively with local schools—especially when they’ve been given plenty of notice.

Thankfully, Cleckheaton Domino’s were incredibly helpful, took the order, and even offered a discount—though we had to collect it ourselves, as Heckmondwike is the closest branch to the school.

IF I COULD GIVE A ZERO 🌟 I MOST CERTAINLY WOULD DO!!!!

Anyway i ordered last night, extremely disappointed, in fact I was fuming after seeing and tasting the pizza, it was horrible I didn't actually eat it all, it was that bad, within 30min I was on the toilet with bad stomach, this was definitely the worst ever pizza I've ordered from Heckmondwike branch, and will most certainly be the last time too.. The whole order was cold on arrival too, my pizza was over cooked, so much so the outer edges of the pizza were like chewing a brick, so I couldn't eat it. Overall very disappointed with the experience.....

Another point to add is I keep getting deal offers from domino's, (which I blocked) so they use different numbers & continue bugging me with rubbish offers, so so annoying to say the...
