Huddersfield Dragons Hockey Club, 4th team end of season meal. Group size approx 20. Booked in advance, early bird fixed price menu preselected. Reasonable choice of a two course meal. Very relaxed restaurant atmosphere. Clean & warm. Discrete & efficient staff. Our meal was presented on time with all diners served at same time - important for a group. Any additional 'sides' were quickly & courteously accommodated. All of our group were satisfied with their respective food choices, with each dish simply but nicely presented, delicious & plentiful. I have been a customer of this restaurant since it was Cardamon Green. I have seen it change hands many times. I live in Bulgaria now and visit England every May and November. This restaurant used to be one of the highlights of my trip. The quality of the food used to be the best in Huddersfield. I have to say that this time I was very disappointed with Millennium Dine. Not only are the prices up but the quality is down. All the mains were watery with bland flavours. It was hard to distinguish any difference in the taste of the different dishes. We took our little niece for a Friday, early night tea as a treat. It was the first time in the place and won’t be the last.

The staff were really lovely and seemed to be authentic in wanting to know how the food was, or if we needed anything else. I’ve been to places where serving customers looked like a chore for the staff; it’s certainly not the case at this restaurant. We loved the open kitchen and the chef came out to check on everything too. Nice touch.
