New Bamboo — Restaurant in Kirklees

A nice selection of menu items plus the 'normal' Chinese dishes.

Bearing in mind every place has their own take on classic dishes it was good food.

Many of the main menu items will come with a side (rice, noodle, chips etc) at a small cost which is cheaper than ordering them separately. They come separately and not as one dish which is great.

There's no dedicated parking but there're spaces in a car park just round the corner (near the Co-op).

They are cash only but there's an ATM with no charge to withdraw round the corner (down from the traffic lights).

We phoned an order for collection in and it was ready within 20 minutes. There's not much room on the customer side of the counter but that's fine, just take that in to account.

Typical Chinese food… never anything to be wowed by because you know it’s about as cheap as food can get. I’m yet to find a Chinese that tastes any different. Everything’s covered in MSG. Either way I still enjoyed the usual meal I have.
