So Dough Pizzeria — Restaurant in Kirklees

We ordered calzone and pizza, but i have to say i have had better pizza for this price. The pizza was overall average, but can’t say the same about the calzone 👎 I didn’t think the prices and the food match. Pricy for what you get. You will see in one of the pictures that underside of the pizza base is burnt.

Have they just missed that? I don’t think so. Just seems they are comfortable feeding that to customers. As i was sitting in the section closest to the oven, i noticed most is not all of the pizza coming out of the oven had some parts of it burnt.

Kudos to the service team however, very professional, friendly, and nice. 👍 satisfied by how welcoming and smiling everyone was.

The restaurant is clean. 10/10 for that. They say judge a restaurant’s cleanliness by the state of its toilets. The men’s toilet was spot on looked like it was just cleaned. 🧼 🧽 🧹

Now comes the million dollar question 🙋‍♂️ Will i go back to this restaurant??

I don’t think so. It was nice trying it once. As for the second time, I wouldn’t feel very enthusiastic to do so. If i do however, i will be sure to update this review to reflect if there are any...

I reserved a table for myself and three friends for dinner before we headed to a gig at the Picturedrome. Online booking was straightforward, email confirmation almost immediately and they emailed a few days beforehand to double check everything was still good with our reservation.

We arrived 15 mins before our reservation and our table was ready. Staff were courteous, professional and didn't rush us. We ordered 2 GOATs, 1 Med and 1 Godfather. Also ordered a bottle of Primitivo.

All 4 pizzas arrived pretty much within 15 mins of ordering and all 4 pizzas were spectacular. The food, wine, service and overall ambience of the place was great - we all live a 45 min drive from here but we would happily do the round trip to eat here again.

We weren't rushed out of the restaurant after we'd finished (which was nice!) and I can't recommend this place highly enough. I'm very much looking forward to...

We'd been wanting to try this place and it was easy to book online. On arrival, we got a friendly welcome at the door and shown to our table straight away. The interior of the restaurant is really nice - the exterior doesn't do it justice in my opinion. There were great options on the menu and all the food was delicious. The arancini were great with a lovely sauce and melting mozzarella middle, and I liked that the pizza bases were slightly crispy on the bottom with tasty toppings. I'd just flag that the toilets, although nice, are down some quite steep stairs and the railing is loose so when I held onto it to steady myself I nearly went over!
