Qream T's Cakery by Turner and Co — Restaurant in Kirklees

EDIT: this business has now moved around the corner and 200 metres down along the high street. They don't have a property sign up yet, so it can be a little hard to find, but they still have that great Qream Teas ambience, menu and wonderful staff that Mirfield had come to know and love! Parking is now much easier in the free co-op car park opposite, but keep an eye on the time as there is a maximum!

Qream Teas; what can I say? When Tommy arrived in Mirfield he brought with him the most fantastic atmosphere, the most wonderful cake, brownie and sandwich recipes, and an air of positivity and humour that was like a breath of fresh air. It's pretty much impossible to be disappointed by anything on offer here. The savoury offerings are made to a high standard, in terms of flavour and presentation. Visiting for a few weeks from France, I discovered this delightful little place and managed to squeeze in three visits before my return. The atmosphere and decor are so lovely, the music played so soothing, the staff lovely. They serve the nicest flat whites I have had since I've been back (with some gingerbread syrup for good measure). My friend and I also had the scones with cream and jam, beautifully presented, and also were gently warmed and utterly delicious. I hadn't realised until later that they close at 4.30 and there I was still chilling way after that time ! but no-one mentioned it or shooed me out. Looking forward to coming...

Brought my best friend here for afternoon tea. We both absolutely loved it! The afternoon tea was delicious, great range of sandwiches, fab choice of delicious cakes and gorgeous scones to top it all off. They were really accommodating of dietary requirements due to my friend being pregnant. Have been here before just for coffee and a cake and the cakes are always delicious and there’s such a brilliant selection. The decor is so pretty and cute. Staff are all lovely and friendly.
