Shapla Indian & Bangladeshi Takeaway — Restaurant in Kirklees

Sorry but I am doubtful with some of the responses here. I used this takeway a number of times when it was Ali's Kitchen. Since the change there is just no comparison. I have tried 3 separate dishes now and all very average. They might have considered using the chef(s) from Ali's Kitchen and the ethos as the dishes that I had under Ali's Kitchen were truly delicious and made with some care. Chicken that melted in the mouth, sauces that were distinctive, packed with flavour and ingredients other than just chilli and powdered spices. Even the rice was far better. Ali's Kitchen was definitely the best takeaway in Huddersfield while it lasted. Sadly Shapla is not...not at this time anyway unless they...

Visited Shapla for the first time last night as wanted to try and new takeaway curry. It was superb. Best we’ve had for a while and will be my go to now.
