Would never in my life order from here again. Got two salt and pepper wings. And pulled brisket bao bun. The bun and chips came cold. And my wings was missing. I just got some soggy salt and pepper chips. After the ringing the store and going back and fourth with the staff who told us to just make a new order of something small and they’ll send some wings out for free we explained that this would still us cost us money (delivery fee and service fee) we asked to speak for the manager who told us to make the order and they would refund the new order and the old order for the inconvenience which we agreed to. He sent out some wings and an extra of gyzos (which we didn’t even eat) But he just left a refund in the envelope with the order of £12 which didn’t even fully cover the price of both the wings?? So we didn’t get compensated for the inconvenience again. And we got short changed on the refund. Extremely disappointed in the service and I would not come back or ever order again. The customer service really lacks and I will definitely be sharing my experience with others
Edit - I don’t know why you added chicken gyzos if we wanted chicken gyzos we would have ordered them. If you wanted to add an extra why don’t you ring and ask so nothing goes to waste? you provided me with an £8 voucher on uber eats which I’m never going to use as I would never order from you guys again. and my point was the manager told us he would refund the entire order and the new one he asked us to make. And that was NOT honoured. what you could have done to make the experience better was honour what you said in the first place. Not thinking you done me a favour by making me place a whole new order and adding in an extra for something we didn’t ask for. We had one child eat his food and then had another wait another 40 minutes for his food to come because he wanted his wings. Read moreWe had to wait for a while and customers ahead of us left the premise for a reason which meant we needed to wait longer? I found that a little odd to be honest. I could see 3 tables ready, they needed cleaning up and were good to go but unfortunately the waiter didn't have enough support or guidance to prioritise table clearing. The business is understaffed there is no polite way of putting it. Bring in 2-3 more waiters to help the young man running his socks off on his own for 10+ tables! So we got a table eventually (i had to ask for someone about it and all of a sudden upon asking it became available). Then when ordering, it made sense to open the second till to help reduce the rush. Delivery drivers pile on the same till as dining in customers which caused alot of disruption and delay, they should be allocated a separate location / till and not distract the staff assisting dining customers. We pay for a service too not just the food. Starters were nice we got Fuji fries and dynamite prawns. Mains we got the wagyu beef burger and Korean crispy chicken with noodles. Food was spot on, but like I said, we pay for a service as well as food, such a shame the service let us down. I had to ask twice for more cutlery, which was because our mains had came and we couldn't start until we had cutlery. Atmosphere was quite crowded, people queueing up next to those dining in is not the best vibe. Unfortunately I will rate my entire experience 2/5, food being great isn't enough when dining in, we pay for experience and service which for me were not met. Will not be visiting again.
For anyone going in future, parking wise off the road off sibu opposite Chaiiwala, there is plenty of parking (2hrs no return) and I believe parking restrictions only apply...
Read moreGot my order wrong, ordered Thai red curry with prawns but when I looked at receipt whilst waiting for mains, it said Pad Thai (genuine mistake to make). Queried this and was told they had already made the dish and can't change it. I explained that's not what I ordered and have penit allergy so can't eat it, the "manager" said he can prepare tye correct dish but will need to pay for it again, ofcourse I refused and explained again I have peanut allergy. After a long and stressful discussion, he finally agreed to make the correct dish. If you think that was all then you're mistaken.... I waited 45 minutes for my order at which point the rest of my family (6 other people) had finished their meals and were sat twiddling their thumbs. We asked several members of staff how long my food will take. Finally, my food arrived an hour later, in a take away bag!!! By this point I was hungry, annoyed and disgusted beyond belief. This is the reason for giving 2 stars.
Dynamite Prawns and Dynamite chicken was very nice - when we could figure out which was which as the waitress left the food on the table without saying a single word. Bao buns were okay. Katsu curry was horrible,chicken was dry and presentation was poor. Mongolian beef was okay, beef was very dark in colour. My daughter enjoyed the Singaporean noodles. Mocktails looked and tasted great.
Had to ask for used plates and cutlery to be removed from table whist waiting for mains, didn't replace cutlery so had to ask few times!!
Service was absolutely shocking, there was no apology for getting order wrong or for making me wait an hour for my food, horrible experience and its fair to say I will never spend my hard earned money at sibu ever again....
