Hope & Anchor — Restaurant in Knowsley

Probably won't visit this pub again, as soon as you open the door the heat from all the people packed in hits you like opening the oven door ! (in fact my glasses immediately steamed up ) thier was no ventilation at all hardly covid friendly! The 3 staff members behind the bar couldn't keep up and getting served took absolutely ages, we tried to wedge the side door open to get some air but was told they wasn't aloud to do so, really uncomfortable and sweaty inside, not our cup of tea, has everybody completely forgotten about covid 19 ? has it gone away now ? ...

I didn't rate the food because I didn't eat here. Staff are friendly and I enjoyed my time there having a few beers. There's a pool table too which is a bonus. Not 5 star because the interior could be a bit better especially when I went to the toilets and you can see the bar behind you whilst...

Had a lovely time being looked after by Jess, Luke and Josephine the food was served quickly and was really tasty. Drinks were flowing for bottomless brunch. Felt like we never waited for anything even though it was quite busy....
