This restaurant is lovely and the food is really good. We sat upstairs at our request and really liked our surroundings. Despite being the only people upstairs, the wait staff were very attentive and helpful. We started with the chicken satay skewers and got four big skewers with as much stay sauce as you'd need. Great value and delicious. Our other starter was something you don't often see in Chinese restaurants in Liverpool and that was the lettuce wrap. Its a chopped mixture of either chicken, char sui, king prawn or vegetables all served with lettuce leaves and a hoi sin sauce on the side. We had the chicken lettuce wrap and it was perfect. Spoon the mixture into your lettuce leaf, wrap it up and away you go - beautiful. For the mains we had beef curry and three meat kung po and both were very good. We chose the 'double happiness rice' to accompany our mains purely out of interest to see what it was! Its a lot like yung chow fried rice with chicken and char sui mixed in. I'd definitely have that again! To drink we had a bottle of house red and a bottle of house white wine, both were very good and my bottle was placed in a stag statue! Nice touch! We very much enjoyed our evening at Sing Faye and will certainly be returning to try more of the menu. As the restaurant was full downstairs I'd suggest booking ahead in case it fills up upstairs too, it really is popular....

However they did accommodate us. My friend had Chicken Sweet corn soup, had to send it back as it was luke warm. Service was not the best as they were very busy. My main course which was one of the specialities, chicken with chilli, although plentiful it had not stated that the chicken was in a batter, disappointed. Positives. I live locally and have been to and recommend others to the Sing Faye. I feel that this could and would hope...
