Had meals from here about five times up to now, first couple of times were good and I had no complaints. However, the food has fastly declined, my recent meal from here was full of grease, the won ton soup when cooled down had hard pieces of fat setting in and around the soups broth, both the beef mushroom and chicken satay had large speckles of floating grease on top and basically I found my latest meal very very poor and poorly cooked, at £25 for two people its a lot of money for the poor quality recieved and I won't be using the sing ping anymore, its a shame that the standards are not maintained and I guess the saying you get what you pay for is true, very very poor food. First visit to this little restaurant for us and mixed feelings... the food we tried was good & to the standard we we're hoping for, portions were of a good size & the service was good. Now the minus points - there is little or no atmosphere in this place a lot due to the white ceilings & walls with very bright lighting above more like a canteen or cafe, it's crying out for some ambient lighting & perhaps some background music you can hear. There is very little Chinese themed decoration and it's quite compact inside giving little room to navigate between the tables... What a great little find! We picked it because of the reviews, and boy did it live up to them! Called in and got a table for 2, in fact it was the last table! Very popular restaurant by the looks of it. Lots of take aways being collected. Great atmosphere, clean and tidy although not a huge place. We had the special platter for 2 to start followed by special satay, kung po chicken with cashew nuts, boiled rice and salt and pepper chips, all freshly prepared and piping hot and the service was great.
