Friday 18th August 2023 This pub is a fantastic micro pub This pub is a sister pub of the snug on carnforth station The ample amounts of handpumps on today were all interesting and very well kept The landlord and staff member today were very real ale orientated, which was why the beers were so good There is a comfortable interior to the place the local followers who come here are mostly real ale suppers 👍👍👍 There is a pleasant outdoor drinking place at the back of this pub also Saturday 24th February 2024 We all came here again. This is an old website belonging to a time when Taps on the Green was owned by Provincial Inns.We have contacted them several times to ask them to take it down. The Taps has now been remodeled into a Micro pub. It is much smaller and run on micropub principals. Shorter hours, Craft ales brewed in our own micro brewery in Carnforth nice guest beers cider special gins and good wine. Our opening hours are Tuesday to Friday 5 till 9 Saturday 2 till 9pm Sunday 2 till 7pm.we sometimes open an hour longer for the bowling club,but we are only licensed till 10pm any night. A very quick review Watch the opening times!!! A really interesting selection of cask beers brewed a very short distance away ( less than a five minute walk!) Different strengths & the two I tried were very good. The pub is spotless, it has a small well stocked bar with outside space to one side. I will definitely return as the first time I was thwarted by the restricted hours on the day visited. Certainly worth finding to enjoy locally...
