Google won't publish my full review, presumably because it's very long so here's the shorter version. I don't like to be negative about a new opening like this, especially when I created this Google entry for them and had been answering questions about the place before it opened but I have to be honest... Nice enough basic food that's served promptly although differs a little from the menu description (meat cubed, not in slices for example) and even from plate to plate. Pleasant surroundings but spoilt by disappointing service at the table side of things from staff that seemed indifferent to you being there and lacking in hospitality skills. Basics like asking if you'd like a starter or sides, dumping drinks at one end for us to sort ourselves, not opening the wine, not asking if we wanted puddings and then getting the (very basic) order wrong when we prompted them to take an order, no pleasantries at all to speak of. Restaurant still trades on a cash only basis, the wine glasses don't match (fine from table to table but not on the same one) and we had things spoilt further by loud sweary diners on another table when we were in there with young kids. They were unable (or unwilling) to make a basic cheese pide for the kids despite having pide on the menu and a range of pizza available. I suspect the key is to try and get seated downstairs, the difference in experience for one diner from last week to this was marked and that was the only real change. Be wary of other reviews on here not being 100% honest, even the owner appears to have given himself a 5* one. Hopefully they iron out the issues they clearly have going forward.

Had good expectations for this new venue in Morley but didn’t live up to it. The food literally has little flavour and is bland. All 3 of our party said so and I know 2 other couples who’ve been recently. The food looks lovely and is presented well, portion sizes on the small-ish side though. Prices are pretty steep but it’s a typical inflated price to encourage diners to choose the 2 course set menu, of which about 80% come with an extra £2 surcharge! Staff were friendly but didn’t check if meal was ok during or at the end. No draft lagers either, just bottles. It’s been open a good 6 weeks now and still playing the ‘card machine isn’t working’ line as do most takeaways, doesn’t take much to work out why one might say that. The restaurant Google overview seems to be littered with suspicious fake reviews also. Wish Bacchus well but I won’t be returning.

My First time eating here & what lovely decor to walk into, reminded me of Lime Tree down the road, but happens to be the same designer 🤗 I think I need to hire you 🤭 You’re sure gifted! Makes it a great place to enjoy absolutely delicious/freshly cooked food. From the presentation to the last bite, it was simply scrumptious 😋 The olives, freshly baked bread, dips, salad combo filled me right up 😆 I had the chicken pasta which was cooked to perfection 👌 I do hope the waitress who served us is ok as she had quite a nasty fall 😬 Lovely staff. I will definitely be going again, I’ve had so many friends ask about it through social media so hopefully you get busier over the next few weeks !

A bit of a disaster with a group booking of twenty .. they wanted us on 2 floors but after a lovely group of ladies moved it was 2 tables so immediately the atmosphere was negatively affected. The food was first class but some portions were very skimpy and certainly poor value for a 2 course pre ordered meal. Our waiter was young very inexperienced and raised a "aww bless him" from some of the ladies in our group . Personally I paid for a professional service which on this occasion I did not receive. Morley has a wealth of restaurant choice and it will be the others I patronise on future occasions

I am editing this after your response .. I made no mention of a waitress, HIM usually refers to a male and on this occasion it was a male who found difficulty serving 8 complimentary drinks to 8 people without getting confused. That is just one example of his inefficiency I am offended that you accuse me of misunderstanding anything I think it is bad practice that a group was originally expected to be seated on two separate floors and the misunderstanding lies with you for making this error at the time of booking. Please note that I gave 5* for the food quality so it wasn't a total...

Had a booking for 6pm for 6 people for what was supposed to be a nice family meal. We arrived just before 6pm to be told our table wasn't ready yet and were asked to go somewhere else for a drink and come back at 6:15pm and that our table (pointed out to be one next to the window) would be ready. This wasn't an issue, I understand they can't ask people to leave....however, when we returned at 6:15pm, they had seated another party at the table they had pointed out to us as being ours. We were then told to go upstairs and ask for a table for 6. We went upstairs and they seated us, but we realised within seconds that we had been seated in the room where the bottomless brunches are served. People were shouting, singing, standing on chairs, which is fine if you're also there to drink bottomless cocktails with friends but when you're there to have a nice quiet family meal, that is not the atmosphere you want. We stood straight back up and left...so thank you for ruining our evening. I wouldn't have left this review had it not been for me receiving an email asking if we had enjoyed our meal and to leave a review, rubbing salt...
