Visited here today for the first time after noticing it as I drove by. Upon entry, I was greeted by a friendly Barista by the name of Carl, who talked me through the menu and then took my order, which was a chicken sausage and turkey bacon bap, with ketchup, and a cappuccino. The cafe is clean with fresh and bright decor. There is plenty of seating, and the large window brings in a lot of natural light. The food, whilst I only tried one item and a drink, cannot be faulted. The spicy chicken sausage (there were 2 sausages cut into 4 halves) was a different twist, but tasty nonetheless. The turkey bacon wasn't chewy or over-salty, and the bread bap was soft, not dry. The coffee was very smooth. Some times thr roast can be very dark, leaving it very bitter. But as someone who drinks coffee without sugar, this was perfect. Prices seemed reasonable, especially when compared to the big corporates like Starbucks. Whilst I was sipping my coffee, the owner arrived who was also professional and very welcoming. I briefly spoke with him and it shows that he has put his passion into the business. I will certainly visit again to try more items from the menu. UPDATE: Have been back a number of times and it's been consistently good. I've had thr eggs benedict and full English since.

Love discovering new coffee shops & this is one of the most beautiful little shops I have discovered that I local to me. The quality of the food is amazing, I had the carrot cake on my first visit which was delicious & aesthetically pleasing, my second visit I opted again for the carrot cake, my third visit I shared a cake with my partner and then my next visit I had an almond croissant which was flakey, warm and delicious. The coffee blend used and the way they are prepared are another level, the smoothness of the coffee pairs very well with the caramel syrup (I always get caramel lattes everywhere I go) and is creamy, delicious and highly enjoyable. The staff are amazing, they’re inviting, warm and easy to talk to. On one of my visits I was introduced to the lady who owns this new cafe and was also giving a cold drink sample for the new menu that is soon to be released. Right now the menu is your standard cafe food, this is because they have put time, effort and thought into the new menu which will be available soon. I highly recommend a visit to this cafe and you can’t go wrong at £4.90 for a sweet treat & a coffee.

Charming New Café Worth the Visit I recently had the pleasure of visiting Soos Cafe with my husband and our two children, a cozy new spot run by a local family—and it’s quickly become one of my favorite places in town. From the moment you walk in, the warmth and hospitality are unmistakable. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, with thoughtful touches that give it a homey, personal feel. The menu features a delightful mix of classics. We tried the vegetarian breakfast, eggs royale and the classic sausage breakfast bap along with a fresh cup of their house coffee—both were excellent. You can tell everything is made with care and quality ingredients. What really sets this café apart is the genuine friendliness of the staff. You’re not just another customer here; you feel like a guest in someone’s home. If you're looking for a quiet spot to enjoy great food, good coffee, and authentic hospitality, give Soos Cafe a try. It's a wonderful addition to the community, and I’m excited to go back.
