Latte Cafe & Deli — Restaurant in Leeds

I visite Latte Cafe on the 20/1 and had their mega breakfast, which was very nice, as usual. The owner even kindly gave one of their cakes, as it was my birthday.

The following evening, I visited again to have one of their gyros (Their gyros' are genuinely the best ones I've had anywhere in England. They taste just as nice and as authentic as the ones you'd expect to find in Greece. The only difference is, at Latte Cafe, they're massive!) I highly recommend the peri peri chicken gyros, or if you don't like spicy food, the traditional pork gyros is just as good. Alternatively, if you don't fancy having a gyros, their "special burger" in the Greek section of the menu is also very tasty!

I've visited Latte Cafe many times in the past 11 months since my first visit and I've not had a bad experience yet. The staff are always friendly to both my family and our dogs (they're a dog friendly cafe). The atmosphere in the cafe is warm and cozy. I Particularly like how they always have a scenery (New York, Greece, Italy etc...) playing on the TV which is accompanied with peaceful music. Rather than typical daytime TV, which I find quite tacky when cafés/ restaurants do this.

I recently visited this café with my partner for breakfast, and we were both pleasantly surprised by the experience. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, with a cozy vibe that made us feel right at home. The staff greeted us with genuine smiles and were incredibly friendly throughout, making us feel like regulars even though it was our first visit.

The food was excellent—fresh, well-prepared, and presented with care. We both had hearty breakfasts, and everything tasted great. It’s clear that they put effort into both the quality of the ingredients and the preparation.

What really stood out, though, was how comfortable the whole place felt. It’s the kind of café where you can sit back, enjoy your meal, and have a nice conversation without feeling rushed. We even had a pleasant chat with the staff, who were more than happy to take the time to make sure everything was perfect.

Overall, we had a fantastic time and will definitely be coming back. It’s rare to find a place that ticks all the boxes—great food, friendly service, and a welcoming atmosphere....

This was a really hard review to give. We go to cafe latte a lot and the food they make is amazing. The reason we've had to give such a low rating is due to their allergy control. They do not list all items that apear on a product. To navigate that we try asking for exactly what we want. E.g a chicken sandwich with lettuce and onion... get home they have added cucumber which I am allergic to and did not ask for. This has happened a few times with different meals as my son also has a lot of food allergies.

It's a real shame because the food is always lovely and the people who run it are lovely. But this is about the 8th time they have added something we did not ask for which is something we have...
