Spice House Leeds — Restaurant in Leeds

As a night worker, I rarely order takeaway curries, having had several very disappointing and expensive party experiences! This place was suggested to me, so I took a gamble and thought I'd give it go. I ordered the 'Meal deal' offer at just under £15.00

The meal was delivered within a very reasonable time frame, not too quick to think, it's all microwaved and not too slow to think 'they can't be bothered'

When the it arrived, we were more than impressed with the quality and quantity of the food. The food was hot (temperature wise )flavoursome, rich and most of all, authentic. Now here's the kicker ' I have never eaten a curry outside of Bradford, this rivals the best of best in Bradford! I thought I'd never say that, but it was good! I'm looking forward to a working a day shift, ordering a takeaway to share with my family over the boundry line and back in Bradford! Apologies I can't rate the atmosphere, however I'd love a sit down...

I wish I could put NO STARS

Went in there for dinner on Friday night with my husband. It was a very cold night, and the Resturant had only one table full, the rest were empty. We were taken to a table but I requested to sit next to a radiator, as I was not feeling cold. 2minutes later and we were given the menu, and after about 5 minutes another person came and spook with very rude manners and asked us to move to the back table because the table we were on is reserved for a customer to watch the football. I was shocked and did not quite believe it, then I asked a few questions to clear the confusion but it was true. He was asking us to move so some imaginary customer - after 8:30pm - to come to watch 25 minutes left of a football match. Then he said “do you have a problem with that?”. We got our stuff and left the restaurant and decided we will never go there again. Very disappointed with how rude...

I have tried this restaurant numerous times and each time I come away disappointed. I always try to support local businesses but tonight was the end. I literally went in ordered only starters (one couple in so not busy). I ordered two, portions of onion, bhajis with my order. On returning home no onion bhajis!

I rang but was told no I had not even ordered the food. My husband ended up having to speak to them as I was becoming ever distressed at I was being called a liar. Eventually my husband was told oh it was the restaurant that forgot to add it on the order. But was told we had them to pay for delivery

So not only insulting customers but we pay extra to correct the mistake despite paying for my own petrol to collect. Nice. But no...
