McDonald's — Restaurant in Leeds

I thought I would write a review regarding this particular branch of McDonalds - Elland Road during my visit to Leeds from Birmingham. On arrival. I quickly discovered that the self order machine was not working so queued to place my order instead during Leeds United Match day - Sunday 16th October 2022. I was rudely spoken to by a member of the public so quickly put him in his place. Once it was my turn to order, the Shift Manager decided to point blank abandon me, stating 'Just a minute' before heading over to the opposite side of the restaurant to help the staff with their drive through orders for over 5 minutes. So I was forced to join the other queue.

For my order, I asked for a Frozen Strawberry Lemon regular drink to be abruptly told by a young Black girl crew member with an attitude that this drink was not being served today. Therefore, I requested a Mango Pineapple Smoothie regular drink instead to be told the same thing. This baffled me as there was no notice that informed customer of this beforehand and it was still available on the menu. I just left the restaurant at this point.

On reflection, I strongly feel that I was not served on purpose and treated spitefully. I would not recommend going to this branch as the staff including the Shift Manager have zero customer service and could not careless! Would have given 0...

Oct 2025: Ordered on the app to collect, clicked to confirm arrival and just received errors so went inside. Shift manager realky helpful but a couple of other staff members behaving oddly with a pregnant lady just resting her bump on the counter in a trance and another angrily refusing to work and hiding in toilet.

Did order again on consoles and endured a massive wait while endless streams if delivery drivers pushed past and stood uncomfortably close.

Eventually received the 3 meals, got home and the changes I requested weren't done so one item was binned due to allergy concerns.

Unable to redeem the voucher they'd sent me because they messed my order up last week, an unpleasant and shambolic experience all round. ......

Old Review: Quick, efficient setup with the usual McDonald's food products on offer, personally I only really like the breakfast menu but the kids meals are are handy stop-gap once in a while.

Update: On a more recent visit they managed to completely ignore my 4 requests for a kids meal to be plain and caused untold nightmares for me at home and the double Big Mac they made (see photo) was either some kind of joke or an attempt at...

McDonalds has always made me vomit after. I have seen videos on the internet showing of "4 Year old McDonalds Fries" which looked brand new which makes me think What the hell they put in their food.

McDonalds is strangely popular but as a big foodie McDonalds to me is like accidently eating a cardomen seed in a Lamb Rogan Josh. Extremely disgusting and makes me want spit it out. Wherever you go in the World : Japan, China, England. McDonalds taste approximately the same. McDonalds "may be cheap " but I would rather choose quality then quantity.

Even though I haven't eating McDonalds for about 4-5 years I can still remember the horrid taste and memories and two family member has "sadly" recently eaten this disgusting excuse for food, one vomited after digesting this "Non-food object" that McDonalds serves as food. Me and my most family members (only one non foodie) hate McDoanlds.

Service has always and will be poor big lines and disgusting food, and the only reason why this is popular is cheap and addictive. I recomend if you have IBS or anything like that do not eat this unless you want terrible...
