Absolutely disgraceful service. Visited here with our two daughters (4yo and 18 months) and we ordered 2 meals, 1 kids meal (18 month old) and asked if they could do a couple of slices of toast and jam for our 4yo. My 4yo is autistic non-verbal. She struggles with eating food but even more so in public places, all she will eat is toast and jam. The young lad serving said "it shouldn't be a problem", and neither did we as we have had this here before. The supervisor happened to be stood behind him, and immediately said in an abrupt tone "no we can't!" I asked why when we have had it before. He said "because the dial is on buns not toast, we can't change it to toast for just one person". I couldn't believe it. They seriously refused to just turn a dial in order to cater for an autistic child. I told the lad serving to cancel the whole order and we'll go somewhere else, which we did. Will never visit this place again....

Popped in with my mum for a bite to eat, mother has a few allergies so I double checked on the ingredients/allergens on the app as to whether a meal had tomatoes in- they weren't listed as an ingredient so we added it to our order. Unfortunately when our food arrived my mum noticed tomatoes in her wrap. After approaching a member of staff about the error this was fixed straight away, a new wrap was made for my mum and a member of staff (I could be wrong but I assume she has a managerial role) even checked over the menu and allergen book in the back to check herself, we were offered supplementary items but as the error was fixed straight away we didn't feel the need to take them up on the offer of extras.

Massive thank you to Amanda for fixing this issue, we also noticed how attentive you were to other customers, its very rare to see such a high level of customer service in fast paced environments such as...

Just ordered an American Cheese Burger with an additional burger which arrived promptly swimming in grease and fats which subseqently soaked into the base of the burger bun turning it into a grease filled sponge and required the serviette and a whole pack of tissues to soak up the remainder of the grease the breadcake couldnt handle. The top of the burger bun also played its part in soaking up the grease which ruined the cheese and other toppings. So all in all an expensive portion of chips with the remainder collected and taken away. So glad i wasnt asked how the food was whilst i had it on the table as i didnt want to cause offence with my honest opinion. Lesson learned...i will not be ordering any more burgers. However its a nice pub, nice staff and i thoroughly recommend it for a nights drinking ( just beware...

With a quiz every Sunday at 8pm it’s a great place to meet new people and have a great night. thriving place has everything from lagers to beers and craft ales the food at the briggate is exceptional and fast service the staff are very warm and welcoming a great asset to garforth and it needed it i would recommend this place to everyone as it also has a large outside seating area aswell as indoors the decor has history of the local area so if you have time take a closer look. It also has like a living room area with sofas to just chill and have a drink myself i felt quite at home so if you want somewhere to go then make sure its the briggate garforth. Also has step free access to toilets and bar area with helpful staff that will bring you drinks to the table when needed

My sister & I came here recently for a quick lunch. We parked for free nearby and walked down to The Briggate. It doesn't look that big from the outside but I was surprised how large it was inside. We found a table then I went to the bar to place our order. I don't like using the App as I like to check out what ales they have on offer and I prefer to deal with human beings behind the bar. I ordered a fish & chips lunch with mushy peas and my sister went for a small ham & fried egg dish with chips. I had a pint of Ruddles Best which came with the price of the meal. Amazingly for the two of us the bill came in less that 18 quid. How's that for a bargain. All good!

I would say that the best thing about this pub is the carpet. Everything else was disappointing. When I go to spoons I expect to have some sort of standard. I ordered a smashed avocado muffin with a poached egg, hash brown and beans. I understand that the avo muffin is served cold, however I did not expect everything else to be ice cold. It would have been warmer to grab some baked beans from coop and eat it out if the can. The staff were also unpleasant, it seemed as though someone spat in all their coffees this morning. Hopefully moral improves.
