This place has been a friend to me i live local here now only i go out by myself to meet local people . On going to this place i found this so welcoming and friendly the staff are very beautiful people ❤️ 💕 my tummy yesterday was empty only i thought I must try that food on been here before I found that the person working yesterday was indeed the buisness manager or owned the pub he was a very nice kind gentleman we spoke he suggested as i ask him to suggest one of the dishes as he did , I then was taken to a table suited for me included with the local customers. I was made to feel like a welcome guest and it was not awkward he showed me to a table and as followed was a great experience I continued to have a few drinks in the sunshine it was amazing friendly return locals talked to myself . Then I decided to play pool with some lovely people who was really nice ☺️. A little different to wen the first time I seen a male who was a little rude however a massive improvement as i found that this place didn't always cater for that paticular person only he was not here he was no wereandgreat new and old locals appeard very much welcoming, At this point my food was here very nice food i may have said great food before however this was extremely exceptional in that my mouth was screaming delight I had the chicken skewers in a piri sauce . So lovely seasond fries only massive amount of food my belly was over filled as i ate this meal . Steve were a brilliant 👏 host as a landlord and an extremely professional person he was so friendly I decided to stay in to the night and walk to where I was staying it was a great night out I met more locals including so less fortunate impared with metal disabilities who were having the time of there lifes it was satisfying watching one girl sing a lovey song she was around 18 years old and very vounrable only i was not a threat and the locals imbraced in my singing and my love for dace the landlord Steve was excellent doing a karaoke it was the best time i had in years . It was a wonderful place i cant rave more for the lady staff all so very nice and looked after me all night . Beautiful people all of the locals also staff.

We recently visited The Dalesman, a charming family-owned pub in Leeds, on a Saturday with friends who live nearby. The atmosphere was lively and welcoming, filled with friendly people which added to the overall enjoyment of our visit. The England win in the quarter-final on that day added an extra layer of joy to our celebration, making our visit even more memorable. During our time there, we indulged in a variety of drinks and nibbles. The food was exceptional – each dish seemed to have a touch of love and care in its preparation. The flavors were so captivating that we were completely immersed in the dining experience, forgetting to take photos until we noticed our empty and clean plates! We had few delicious items including duck sausage rolls, nachos, spicy chicken wings, and chicken goujons. Each dish was cooked to perfection, leaving us wanting more. The Dalesman is definitely a place we'd love to visit again on our next trip to Leeds. The combination of great atmosphere, friendly service, delectable food, and the added excitement of England's victory makes it a standout spot for a memorable outing.

Not sure why you have the general menu on your website when it isn't available! Looked at the menu online so decided to pay a visit to be greeted by a paper menu where everything came with chips and peas except the usual boring Sunday lunch! When I asked bar staff why you have this menu on the website she replied that it's not her who does the website so take it up with management!!! Bad attitude and unprofessional response! Try smiling!!! By 2.30 I had seen less children in a nursery!

I went into this establishment for the first time yesterday and I’ll begin my journey of what happened here.

Firstly I called up and spoke to a gentleman called Steve, I’m not sure if he is the landlord but he is a very pleasant chap. I explained that I was a Manchester City fan and asked if there is any rules against wearing flags etc on you. I asked this because you have to respect the fact that we are in Leeds not Manchester and I didn’t want to go out and offend. Steve said it was allowed but did say I should expect some banter in which was understandable.

I arrived within 30 minutes all dressed up with flags wrapped around me ready for the match (Champions league final) and outside there was a few people with Leeds United top on. They didn’t have the banter but they was all saying they hoped Manchester City win & they was very friendly.

Inside there was a wonderful atmosphere with many fans from different teams as far as Scotland and Brighton.

I ordered my first drink and the lovely lady who served me was amazing. I asked her if the price was right because it come in cheaper then expected.

I watched the game and the staff as well as the customers were amazing, there was even entertainment in the other lounge with karaoke. I was tempted but I was not drunk enough lol.

Overall after my long story I’d love to say to the staff and customers that you are amazing. I am proud to call this place my new local having just moved in the area.

We will march on together...
