Sub-urban Leeds drinking just stepped up!
Fantastic cocktail bar in the heart of studentville, Hyde Park, Leeds. Friendly and extremely knowledgeable staff. My Girlfriend and myself both work in the drinks industry so we like to pretend that we know what we are talking about! For me this is the best cocktail bar in Leeds, a nice step outside the city, serious drinkers will enjoy the fantastic drinks menu. Whilst other can just enjoy a casual beer.
Nowadays drinkers seem to be much more savvy with what they are drinking, and East Village has the feel that it has been moulded around this philosophy.
Cant wait to go back! Big thanks to Olly...

They also didn't seem to have a dishwasher for the glasses and were cleaning them all by hand, which didn't seem very thorough. Staff were friendly but did take their time attending...
