I, along with 2 other friends, visited this Indian restaurant recently and here’s my honest review:
Ambiance: 4/5 The place has a great location and a really nice vibe. Unlike a lot of Indian restaurants, the music wasn’t loud. The only downside was the space, it’s quite small, and the tables are very close to each other.
Food: 3.5/5 The food was good overall. The biryani was really flavourful and chicken was fresh and well-cooked. The biggest disappointment was the butter chicken. It just didn’t taste like butter chicken and definitely needs work. There were plenty of options on the menu, which was nice. The quantity could be a bit better though.
Staff: 5/5 The service was lovely. The staff were kind, polite, and very helpful.
Reservations: We didn’t reserve in advance, there was wait of around 10 minutes and then we were seated.
Prices: Reasonable for the most part, though the small portions made it feel a little pricey.
Overall, it’s a nice place with good food and great service. I’d happily...
Read moreWell, we have been there 3 times since it has opened. It has opened only 1 week ago. Which now tells you how much we like this place. The food quality is really good, all the ingredients are fresh, you can tell it from its taste. The taste is so authentic, I just love their biryani - I have tried both chicken and lamb… they give mirchi ka salan- which is a bit different to what I am used to, taste is awsum, one negative about that is the quantity of that mirichi ka Sala is a bit tire not enough for full briyani… their portion size in general of all th food we gave had is quite generous and hard to believe… hopefully they keep up with same portion size and quality…
My wife was so surprised by the veg, it was excellent, veg we can safely say is heat we have had in England.
We just love every thing we have tried- biryani (all the 3 they offer); both thali and Gobi starter we tried in our 3 times with them…

The servings were generous to say the least and everything was beautifully presented. Menu options are also extensive.
I had a coke, 2 samosa, naan and a chickpea curry and it came to about £12 odd so the prices are absolutely outrageous.
I had a great chat about cricket with the lovely lad that was waitering, he also had a full and extensive knowledge of regional differences in food across India. Very impressive... Essentially as well as having an excellent meal I got an absolute education on India and Indian food.
I eat out 3 to 4 times a week and this is potentially the best dining experience in Leeds...
