Average food. Disgusting service. 5 of us went for food. All sat at the same table but paid for four meals on one bill and the last separately.

One meal came. When questioned, the manager was rude and saying that it was protocol to do each order. We asked for it all together at the till point.

In my opinion and my experience in customer service, a manager should remember that the customer is generally always right and instead of answering back, they should have simply apologised.

To rub salt in the wounds, Food was being served around us at this point, to customers who had come in after us!

When the remaining meals finally arrived, the first was cold. But we did not moan about it. However, there was a meal missing!

We waited for 10 more minutes for it, which clearly shows they had forgotten it in he first place.

It came out piping hot and the naan bread was chewy and uncooked like it had all been part microwaved.

We then discovered a frozen chip in the mixed grill. There was no point in complaining as it was falling on death ears.

The food I expect to be average but I was absolutely disgusted in the service.

I will not be back and neither will my friends and family.

Then, to top it all off. The deserts came before we had finished our mains (as they came intermittently) and were put on the table before and plates ha been cleared.

We called the manager, who at this stage could see our point. He took the undercooked products away and apologised.

The fudge brownie was burnt to the bottom of the bowl. But this was the least of...

Firstly i must say its a really nice pub and good value for money but not when you have aggressive power mad people on the door!! Im extremely upset. I went out to have a nice evening and relax with several friends. About 2320pm they had gone and i had a whisky and pepsi left so sat outside and wanted a cig. The woman on the door suddenly came up to me and said we have already told you that we are closing. I said oh sorry i didnt know and her colleague on the door was extremely aggressive and said yes u did. If the lady had said we are closing its time to go i would have happily finished what i had then and said thanks goodnight but i walked around to leave and the guy on the door knocked the drink out of my hand. I said whats the problem i only came outside for a smoke with my drink? He pushed me and i said don't push me ive done nothing wrong i only came out with my drink to have a cigarette and the lady said we will call the police. I said OK call them but i dont know what i have done wrong? The male bouncer pushhed me again. I said do not push me ive done nothing wrong he replied what are you going to do about it? He was extremely aggressive and very threatening i admit i told him you will push someone over and hurt them and lose your job if you are so aggressive! He was clearly looking for a fight and the female bouncer was supporting it. I really like the unicorn its a nice bar and good value but i couldnt go back after this i felt picked on and threatened for nothing. Its a shame we will have to...

I HAVE BEEN GOING IN HERE EVERY WEEK FOR A LONG TIME AND HAVE NEVER HAD CAUSE TO COMPLAIN AND NORMALLY WOULDN’t but after last night well I had to and have to leave this review. WE GOT IN AROUND 7pm FRIDAY 4th MARCH AND WENT TO OUR TABLE .WE ORDERED FOOD AND DRINK FROM OUR TABLE WITH A PINT OF STOWELLS CIDER ONLY TO TASTE THE CIDER WAS NOT THE SAME TASTE AS ALWAYS. I CONFRONTED A STAFF MEMBER WHO IMMEDIATELY CHANGED IT BUT ONLY TO FIND IT WAS THE SAME , THE STAFF MEMBER TASTED IT WITH MY PERMISSION AND TOLD ME IT WAS OK AND WALKED AWAY. I AM 63 YEAR OLD AND ALWAYS DRANK THIS AND IT WASNT RIGHT. I ORDERED A MIXED GRILL WITH PEPPERCORN SAUCE TO FIND THE SAUCE DIDN’T LOOK THE SAME OR TASTE THE SAME,IN FACT IT WAS NOTHING BUT CHICKEN GRAVY WITH CRUSHED PEPPERS ON TOP. WHEN I WENT FOR CONDEMENTS THERE WAS NO SALT AND NO MUSTARD I ASKED STAFF TO ONLY BE TOLD “WE RUN OUT” WHAT BIG COMPANY LIKE WEATHERSPOONS RUN OUT OF CONDEMENTS ON THE BUISIEST NIGHT OF WEEK AGAIN WE SEEMED TO BE FOBBED OFF. ALSO WHAT MANAGEMENT WOULD ALLOW KIDS TO BE RUNNING AROUND WITHOUT ASKING PARENTS TO KEEP THEM UNDER CONTROL, IT WAS TERRIBLE. NEEDLESS TO SAY WE WONT BE GOING AGAIN UNTIL AN IMPROVEMENT HAS BEEN MADE BY THE POOR MANAGEMENT THAT ARE THERE AT PRESENT. WE GO TWICE A WEEK SPENDING PROBABLY £35 TO £40 PER VISIT BUT AS I SAID NO MORE UNTIL IMPROVEMENTS TO MANAGEMENT AND WAYS ARE CHANGED. KINDEST REGARDS AND APOLOGIES FOR POOR REVIEW. GEOFF &...

We went here for breakfast for my daughters birthday. The prices are really good. I had a Traditional breakfast with added black pudding. It came out in reasonable time and was lovely. They have a full range of sauces and condiments available if wanted. The staff are friendly and the whole place has a wonderful warm feeling to it. The only thing that I didn't like was the coffee, I had an Americana with extra shot but it still came out like weak dish water so think they need to have a relook at the quality of the coffee they buy. Overall though it's a nice place and would visit again if we were in the area.

Very busy pub. Arrived at 6pm on a Friday for dinner. The gourmet chicken was definitely not gourmet! Very standard food. Like most large corporate food establishments. Chicken breast was cooked a long time ago, quite dry! The ‘happy’ waitress did ask if everything was good, I did mention the chicken and she did offer if I wanted my food replacing. Being British I said it was fine. What was the alternative? Another chicken breast cooked 3 days ago? Pale ale is good. Wide choice available. Car park is tiny! Been before when the sun was shining. They have a great outdoor seating area.
