Honestly one of the best patisseries I have ever been to! There are enough sweet and savoury pastries to choose from without being overwhelmed - I tried three over my visits. I went several times while staying in Lewes and the quality and service was amazing each time. The coffee was amazing and there's a beautiful garden to sit in. These guys moved at the beginning of the year from their previous location on the High Street, opposite the Castle, and are now right next door to Anne Of Cleves' House. The new premises are more spacious, and they also have some outdoor tables in a very nice little garden.

The food is just as good as it used to be. We had a quiche, borek, a hot cross bun and coffees - all very nice....

This place has a really good rustic atmosphere with a nice garden to sit in when the weather is good. The pastries here are fantastic, even their plain croissants are brilliant. If you are there on a Thurs or Fri then try the Custard Brioche. The portion sizes there are also good.
