Some of personnel of Taith needs an anger management course and needs it asap. Being their customer for almost a year we noticed few times the absolute unfriendliness of staff and desire you to feel guilty for making them do something for you. Things got worse today 14.09.25 when a friend of mine been asked to leave the premises after he asked for a tap water. Apparently the Personnel (wearing white victorian shirt from 17th century) was not satisfied with the way he been asked for a tap water and said that āthere should be manners, you dont talk to me like thatā asked my friend to leave and initiated a refund of his coffee purchased as it wasnt yet served. I made my order before the situation occurred and as still been waiting asked staff members politely if it can be put in a take away cup(obviously I wont leave my friend waiting for a coffee) when been notified that I also already been refunded and wont be served though there was no conflict between me and the 17th century shirt guy at all (SURPRISE!). Dear members of Taith Coffee Coffee Shop, I can get it you are feel you are the best of town and you sadly happens to be quite a popular place that leads to 30min coffee waits and queues, as well as lot of stress on your team. But you cant blame people for willing to come and have a coffee at your place. You also cant kick people out just cause you wasnāt satisfied with them. I come here and pay for your product, i dont need respect at all, but I also dont need any discrimination or disrespect either. I truly hope the 17th century shirt guy will receive that message and that his coworkers would be a bit brave next time to interfere when their teammate going a bit nuts in front of everyone. I always shared Taith Coffee as a best recommendation to my friends but will never do it again neither will visit Taith...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIncredible. Best cafe Iāve ever been to, and Iāve been to A LOT! Donāt read anything else (unless you wanna be as excited as me to go back) and just go here. Now!
Where to even begin. The coffee? Itās their own, available for you to buy along with many books, coffee equipment and goodies too, and itās great! The quality is immaculate, the service and baristas were knowledgeable and helpful, but most importantly, it tasted divine and was an unreal coffee.
Then thereās the food! Wow. Genuinely inspiring for a cafe to produce such simple yet utterly brilliant food. I had a take on mushroom porridge, and it just hit all the right spots: so umami, creamy and crunchy, seasoned spot on and lathered up with some toasted focaccia. I was in dreamland!
And then thereās the view and the vibes. On a cold Sunday morning the view was beyond beautiful. Pair that with minimalist but classy and kinda vintage vibes, and a buzzing atmosphere, and you have a perfect set-up.
Honestly this place is amazing and I am genuinely excited to go back. Thereās a reason it was so busy, no one...
Read moreStopped by today to try out the coffee. I had heard they are an excellent coffee roaster, and I wanted to give it a go. They did not disappoint. So far, in my coffee journey, this has to be hands down the best tasting coffee I've had yet. The espresso was punchy with a caramelised banana flavour coming though, and the pour over tasted like strawberry and peach. It was incredibly impressive. The roasted aubergine sandwich did not disappoint either. I only tried their regular offerings, but for a few extra £'s you can choose from their competition and rarities coffee menu too. Something for me to do next time.
I love that for some of their rare coffees they also sell in small 36g packs if you want to try something really special at home, without it costing an arm and a leg.
Then on top of all this, the space they have made is charming, beautifully coordinated and the view is stunning. This is the whole package. Come by and you won't be disappointed. Both if you're interested in speciality coffees or if you're not but want a...
