The micropub revolution has reached Seaford in the form of this imaginative conversion of the old waiting room in the main station building. Blink and you'll miss it though - there is little indication from either street or platform side of what has taken place within. A mixture of keg and cask beers from mostly local microbrews should keep most drinkers happy. The staff proved friendly and knowledgeable on both my recent visits and for non-beer lovers there is a limited wine and spirit selection together with speciality teas and coffees and delicious looking home-made cakes. The selection of beer is brilliant (including a rare old favourite; Directors Courage) the quality of beer is also excellent, you can tell they look after their cellar lines.
The service was friendly and knowledgeable and the clientele was welcoming (especially important as we visited with two young children)
The fact that it’s situated within the station makes the visit that extra special.
