I ventured into Pablo Picasso Italian, hoping it could stand in for my usual spot, which was closed. Unfortunately, it’s one of those places where everything looks right on paper—clean, stylish decor, friendly staff, a 5/5 hygiene rating—but fails to deliver where it truly matters: the food. The Food: • Pizza: This was an immediate red flag. The cheese had that unpleasant borderline plastic texture, and the sauce lacked any authentic Italian zest. It was as if they’d assembled it from a kit you’d find in the frozen aisle. • Lasagne: Calling this Italian would be a stretch. It tasted as though the chef had forgotten to add any herbs, spices, or anything that would give it character. I imagine even a jar of supermarket sauce would have been an improvement. • Bruschetta: A baffling ‘DIY’ presentation where they expect you to assemble your own. I thought I’d ordered an appetizer, not a kitchen project. • Calamari: This one’s memorable for the wrong reasons. Each piece had the texture of industrial rubber, like chewing on the soles of a pair of flip-flops. It’s the kind of calamari that makes you wonder if they forgot the “calamari” part. • Salad: There was some greenery, but it had that wilted, perhaps they steamed it?Or perhaps it was fresh… several days ago. The Atmosphere: Here’s where they redeem themselves slightly. The place is clean and nicely decorated, with a cozy feel that sadly doesn’t carry over into the food. Free street parking and a convenient location add to the positives. Service: The staff were lovely, attentive, and genuinely friendly, but good service can’t save a poor meal. Verdict: Pablo Picasso may have been a genius, but this restaurant’s namesake is definitely not. For all the elegance in appearance, the food is a total letdown. Go for the decor and service if you like, but don’t expect to be wowed by any of their flavours. If they can’t get the basic foods right…I wonder how terrible the rest is…

Pablo Picasso is a newlish expanded Italian restaurant that offers a lot of space, making it a great option for larger groups or those who prefer a more open dining environment. The service is efficient, and the menu covers all the Italian classics, but while the food is decent, it doesn’t quite stand out. The pizza and pasta are enjoyable, but nothing particularly memorable. The flavors are good, but you might find yourself wishing for a bit more authenticity or depth in the dishes. It’s a safe choice for a casual meal, but if you’re looking for something truly special, it may not hit the mark. One downside is the lack of atmosphere—while the space is new and big, it feels a bit rushed and impersonal. It doesn’t have the cozy, inviting feel you’d expect from a great Italian spot. Overall, Pablo Picasso is a solid choice if you’re looking for a convenient Italian meal in a roomy setting. Just don’t expect a particularly warm ambiance or standout flavors.

Always drove past this spot and wondered so I gave it a try with the wife and I can tell you that I was very surprised the pizza was amazing it had the perfect crispness and the tomato base sauce was fresh tasted like it was from Italy and the staff were very welcoming and lovely they were very helpful as I wanted too change toppings on my pizza of my preference, and I can tell you it didn't fail it was amazing! The best part of the dish was fusilli gambaretti with (baby prawns) this meal was amazing had a lot of flavours too it which a lot of restaurants lack when it comes too seafood as the taste normally is way too fishy but you could genuinely tell it was all fresh!!! The best part is they ask if you want Parmesan on your mains 😋 which you can’t say no too Overall it over surpassed my expectations with a warm and nice environment and lovely staff Stop wasting your time on driving past it and reading the reviews like I did and just go in 🤣

Well, no words will really cover or do our experience @ Pablo Picasso justice ! We were at a restaurant around the corner and walked out because the service, menu and vibe were terrible and walked up the street and found Pablo Picasso. I’m glad we did because from the moment of walking through the door @ Pablo Picasso the team were nothing short of awesome, exceptional and wonderful humans ! The welcome we got was so friendly, the waitress came over and was just genuinely happy, friendly and made our presence felt appreciated and welcomed. Everything from the food, the waiter, waitress and Manager was just on point. These guys could write the book on flawless and phenomenal service, and that’s just front of house. The heroes out the back also cooked us one of the best lunches we have ever had as a Family. My kids pizza was delicious, the Mother in Laws seafood pasta medley was phenomenal, my mussles were fresh, local and with the best white wine, garlic and cream sauce I’ve ever had. My Wife’s tuna was perfection … a dish easy to get wrong and make tough and chewy but was banging. Desserts were great, coffee on point. This is the place to eat in Seaford, it was the absolute highlight of our holiday - thank you team Pablo Picasso … you were a blessing to our day 🙏🏼

🙋🏻‍♂️ Exceptional service 💰 Great prices 🍽️ Amazing and delicious fresh, local food 🧼 Clean restaurant and toilets ☕️ Nice after dinner coffee 5 💫 and...

We came for a belated anniversary in end

Jessica the manager had also given us complementary vouchers which we also used on this visit We have been before and food and service has always been great This time we were served by danelle who we have also been served by previously before when visiting she makes the experience better and always goes over and above , and always seems to be running around pleasing all her tables or anyone she is serving or speaking to. She always has a smile on her face and is cheerful and you can have a laugh with her which is great , and is also very professional. The food was excellent as it has always been when visiting the restaurant And I have to say that our experience speaking with Jessica the manager has been great as well if all the staff were like these two and the kitchen team . how great the restaurant would be even more so also the restaurant always has a lovely relaxed atmosphere which is great I recommend to anyone and we’re also booked in next for Father’s Day and I’m sure we will be booked in again soon after that keep up the...
