Strange little pub, but it does feel very cliquey, in a non threatening way. Hardly room for the proverbial swinging cat, but this only adds to the quirkiness. VERY well priced drinks and well kept cask ales. Super friendly young barmaid, who makes you feel at ease and welcome.
They have a couple of tables and chairs outside on the side footpath, so although not exactly prime location, you do get fresh air and the occasional passer by
