Subway — Restaurant in Lichfield

Walked in with my boyfriend to attempt to purchase food at 7:25pm ish and the young blonde lady behind the counter walked away when she saw us. When she came back out she said “sorry we’re closed”, whilst standing next to a sign that said their closing hours were 8pm. We stood there for a moment a bit surprised as we honestly weren’t expecting her to be so blunt about it, and she just continued to clean the floor. Another two people walked in almost straight after and attempted to order to which she denied and said the same thing so I can’t even imagine how many people she’s already refused service to.

To my knowledge, when you state everywhere that you close at 8pm, that’s when you start packing up, you don’t refuse orders 40 minutes before...
