Broadway Country Club — Restaurant in Liverpool

I am writing this review based on what I think is a member of the staff an older lady with short cropped hair . I think another staff member called her Sandra I pulled over in the car park for five minutes because I had just received some bad news and didn’t want to drive upset . I would never normally go in the car park but like I said I was very upset and understand I probably should not of parked there but I was not blocking the entrance in or out this lady pulled up next to me and shouted through a window in a very nasty tone not to park there which yes I understand but again I wasn’t blocking any way in or out . I did not appreciate this ladies tone and before I had chance to reply she sped off. Think staff members should always have an open mind for all that Lady knew I could’ve been coming to book the venue. So based on this experience and the attitude from this lady I think the company should have a look at the way staff members treat or speak to members...

Waited 2-3 minutes at the door where it said wait here no one came then decided to go the bar where there was only 1 person on the tills so we asked the customer who was in line or where it started and no one new , a couple had left as thy had been waiting for a while , we managed to get a staff’s attention to sit down , we sat down looked what we wanted , went to order a couple sat down after us we waited 40 mins but meanwhile the couple had been served ate there meal and left so I decided to ask the lady when is our meal ready , she went and asked but a different person came out and said 10 mins so all in all it had nearly been 1 hour , no steak knife was given and normally a person comes over to ask if everything was ok , no sorry it was late , we was not happy it used to be a very nice and organised place , we won’t be visiting this...

Went to my wife’s boss’s 40th birthday party here. Had a great evening. The place is a little dark but it has a night club kind of vibe about it so nothing out of place there. The bar was well stocked with a good selection and reasonably priced. The bar staff were friendly enough, if slightly bored looking. I understand that, I’ve been there, used to do bar work myself. We had a Chinese buffet which was quite good and nicely put on. All clean and hygienic. The men’s toilets were very old fashioned but clean and tidy enough. Then there’s this thing: The whole place was EXTREMELY 90s style, in appearance and feel. I used to go out pubbing and clubbing in Somerset during the 90s and those places were just like this.
