Poundbakery & TheCafé — Restaurant in Liverpool

Poundbakery & the cafe? Shouldn't be put together. I got a coffee and food from poundbakery sat outside the cafe with my daughter her nappy needed changing so went in and thought I got something from the bakery it's connected to a woman saying 'no it has to be from here' so you can use the toliet. Then I had to change my daughters nappy in the hallway infront of the toliet because you needed the key. A lovely lady who had the key came round and said here you go you can use it but I was half way done. Employee needs more training on how to approach customers rolled her eyes and huffed and puffed. All I wanted to do is change my daughters...

I went there yesterday with my 92 year old mum who loves to sit out outside with her cheese on toast and a cup of tea and people watch. I went to the counter and asked for the cheese on toast and she kept her back to me and just said no! I asked again and she said no again. As it was 2.50pm and on the notice it says it’s open till 4pm I thought I would get an explanation but she just kept her back to me. She plonked the teas on the counter with a scowl on her face, never gave me any milk and just turned away again. I have worked with the public for 40 years and I have to say, manners and a smile...

Can't complain about the price but the customer service is atrocious. Staff need re-training and I don't accept the "you get what you pay for" excuse. Regardless of what end of the scale the shop is, customer service should always be paramount. Either that or soundproof the kitchen area because we can hear when customers are being...
