Absolutely dreadful experience. I ordered through the Just Eat app and usually have good service using the app. I ordered from this location by accident as it was a similar name to one closer to me (that I use regularly with no issues) but as the order was accepted I decided to continue with the order. The app read as order delivered when it had not even displayed “on its way” yet and needless to say, it was not on its way. I queried this and then has a refreshed page and a new delivery time which added an extra half hour onto the wait. That also passed and I had the same delivered notification but no food. I escalated and asked for a refund. Someone actually did eventually arrive, well over an hour later, far later than the original timeframe and so late that I was heading to bed as it was around 1:30am. I told the delivery driver I had cancelled the order and asked for a refund and would not be eating what he had brought as it was so much later than it was meant to be delivered. I then had a message from the app to say the restaurant was refusing the refund. That in my eyes amounts to robbery. Shame on you. I have seen this same restaurant on a different delivery app stating my address is too far to deliver so I think that it was wrong to accept my order in the first place. Read moreI ordered for a delivery to be collected which then by boyfriend took ill and I couldn’t collect it. I rang them up and they said they could cancel it but to get a refund through JustEat. After contacting JustEat they said they can’t give me a refund or credit note but to ring the restaurant to see if I could collect the order. The man on the phone was horrible and said I couldn’t because he’d threw it away. I told him they (Chester’s) said I could cancel it and get a refund so they clearly don’t know the terms and conditions of JustEat which is the system they are using. And he said he does know when he clearly doesn’t. So now I have lost £30 right before Christmas. I will not be using this restaurant again. The man started to raise his voice to me on the phone so customer service is not great. He also put the phone down on me the first time around and on the second phone call is when he started to be horrible and raise his voice. Read moreAbsolutely appalling, ordered 16 pieces of spicy chicken with a 9inch garlic bread on Tuesday the 9th of April, payed £16 for it, it took over 40 - 45 minutes to get to mine then when they delivered my food, they brought me the wrong order, showed up with a burger and chips, they refused to drive back and bring me my actual order so they said to call them the next day and that they would sort it out and bring me my original order, asked for it to be delivered around 11 - 11.30, still hadn't came by midnight (00:00) so I've still not had my order and it's now Thursday 11th, exact same problem today, called them and they have said the same thing again, that a driver is on his way and will be with you shortly, they still haven't showed up, they're just taking the piss and robbing me of my money, beyond cheeky, in the end I've had to contact JUST EAT and get a refund because their service and staff are...
