Costa Coffee — Restaurant in Liverpool

Sunday 21st August. Absolutely Shocking!! One lad was in charge of the whole front desk on his own, whilst 5 of them stood at the back, one of them was the boss, doing nothing apart from standing on their phones, laughing together. a young girl who was training was left to do the till alone and clearly had no clue what she was doing.

Our order got messed up, 2 of the wrong drinks where made… then was spilt all over the tray with our food and forgot to put our full order on the tray we had to go 3 times.

They had hardly any stock! Asked for a medium drink, had no medium cups so had to serve them in 2 cups ? Had no caramel sauce, and had no tomato sauce. And whilst we sat down we witnessed other clients orders getting messed up or where waiting for a long period of time. How unorganised and...

Came here purely because my go-to Costa was closed. Food was stale, tables were dirty, staff were rude, screeching, swearing, and laughing behind the counter while I tried to place my order. Even when I sat down I couldn't hear anything else other than the constant screeching and swearing. I used to work in a hospitality sector and never gave anyone anything close to the service which I have received today. Staff were dismissive and just wanted to get back to chatting, even when asked a simple question they made it seem like a huge deal which costed them...

Went here today and not paying attention I drove past the ordering sign. Got to the front and explained and to say they were unhelpful is an understatement. Hands up, it was my mistake but the “customer service” was nonexistent. You’ll have to queue again was all I got so I went to Starbucks over the road got a shorter queue, exceptional customer service and better tasting food and drinks.

Not had any issues there before perhaps it was just the manager on today calling over from the background that didn’t have any customer facing experience....
