Stayed here before an early morning flight with my husband and 16mo son. The room was nice enough - spacious, clean and comfortable. ||On arrival, no staff around anywhere. Checked ourselves in using the self service kiosk. My dad dropped us off and went to find a staff member to check if he needed to pay for parking and a staff member in the restaurant confirmed the first 20 minutes were free - great. ||I had previously arranged for the travel cot we were taking (as they don't provide mattresses in the ones they provide?) to be collected by my dad the following day as we would be going away for a week and did not want to travel with the cot. I confirmed this with a staff member upon check out at around 4am the next morning. He assured me it would be fine and to send my dad a picture of the collection tag which I did. Upon his arrival, the staff member he spoke to refused to give him the cot without the original tag (which was boarding a flight with me), I spoke to the staff member on the phone and he was completely unwilling to do anything remotely helpful. So I boarded my flight quite stressed and feeling bad for my dad and sent another email confirming the arrangements that had been made in advance of our stay. My dad returned later in the day and spoke to the duty manager who did return the cot to him after commenting that she had seen my email (didn't bother to reply though). We thought it had all been sorted until today - almost 2 weeks after our stay - when my dad received a parking ticket claiming he had parked overnight!! He wasn't even a guest at the hotel and literally dropped us off and picked the cot up (successfully on the second attempt). Absolutely abysmal experience and instead of being a convenient option has just made a nice holiday a totally stressful time. Would never ever use Premier Inn again. Pay a little extra and stay at the Hampton at John Lennon - save yourself...

Very noisy and smell of smoke. We had just returned from a long haul flight and were extremely tired so decided to book PI last minute as we weren't up to driving 3 hours back to Nottingham. We stayed in room 5 and it was extremely noisy. Bang bang bang and someone running around all evening from room above us that went on from 6pm til midnight. Family rooms across the corridor were noisy with banging and slamming late evening and early morning. Woken up at 3am from banging and clanging from room next door. Room was right next to staff emergency exit so we could hear lots of comings and goings. Staff smoking outside our window so we could smell smoke drifting in. Cleaning staff very loud and noisy early morning despite us putting label on door saying Ssshh 40 winks is taking place in this room. Room was clean and tidy. Breakfast was great and worth £9.50 each. Breakfast staff friendly and helpful. We mentioned the noise to reception staff and said it was like a herd of elephants were staying at the hotel. They apologised but were totally not interested in us officially logging the noise levels despite them having a refund policy on noise. We were too tired to hang around so left without making an...

We had to stay here for 6 nights, because our Landlord turned our home into a building site, which wasn't safe with my mobility issues. I genuinely couldn't fault the staff and how well they looked after me and my family! Gabby, Julie, Margaret and the rest, where always happy to help and did so with a smile.||The food is great, albeit a little limited after 6 nights, the Katsu curry is particularly very tasty and the mixed grill offers good value for money, even if the steak is a little underwhelming. ||The rooms were immaculately clean when we arrived, and everything you'd expect from a Premier Inn. The only criticism I can really make is with housekeeping during a long stay. We asked for a full room make up, several times. But, housekeeping kept missing things like emptying the bathroom bin, or changing the bedding, despite it being requested if we made the beds in the morning. Nothing major, just noticeable during a long stay. ||While Speke is definitely not somewhere I'd choose as a holiday destination, if we ever need to be near the airport, or if our landlord turns our home into a disaster site again, we'd gladly stay here...

Excellent Premier Inn as usual real close to the Liverpool Airport. Perfect spot for a early flight (mine was at 5.50 am) or a late one. You can walk to the terminal in 6-7 minutes at any time, day or night, since the sidewalk is very well lite and pretty safe. The hotel is nice. Also offers a paid parking for your car. A bus stop is just in front of the hotel and you can catch 80a or 86a bus to go to Liverpool center in about 45 min. The hotel room it has a comfy bed, a chaise lounge (sofa which could be used as a third bed just in case), a nice bathroom with very good water pressure, a kettle with coffee and tea, TV, really soundproof rooms (no noise at all from other rooms or airport) and a ok WIFI. The hotel has a restaurant where you can have breakfast or dinner (6-9pm). The hotel also offers a luggage storage in case of need which is convenient.

Update: Having recently returned from this hotel for an overnight stay; Do Not eat in the onsite restaurant. The food is over cooked, bland and not worth the money... Many people were turned away as the restaurant can only deal with 4 cooking orders at a time - they were the lucky ones. The steak I had was over cooked and the chips and sides cold. The hotel overall other than the restaurant is ok for a short stay with a late arrival and early departure. Great beds in a quiet location. Gets busy in the restaurant for evening meals. Friendly staff and very welcoming. If you are a light sleeper, request a room on the top floor facing the car park; that removes the road noise, and the noisy floors - you can hear people walking around above.

Wonderfully friendly and helpful staff. Fantastic location, you can pretty much see the airport. Supriseingly good food also on offer. They do a great deal for £25 for an evening meal and a drink and an all you can eat breakfast buffet. Which is also available for people who are not staying at the hotel.
