Golden Empire — Restaurant in Liverpool

So my order for last night was as follows,

Bbq ribs - the ribs where that dried up they was crispy, tough & looked like they was cooked the day before (yellowed meat), for the sauce was certainly not like any bbq sauce I have ever had

Char siu fu yung with chips - what an unpleasant mushed up joke, chips had been cooked that many times they was certainly crispy with no potatoe left in the poor things.

The worst is here at last, Beef in blackbean sauce with egg fried rice - gelatined/curdled beef in a slimey sauce was definitely not freshest meat or nor blackbean sauce.

All of this took just over 5 min to warm up for collection

Put me off this place for life, food maybe 2, Freshness maybe a day old, Flavour 1 Texture 1 I like a Chinese but this was something completely different.

£24 not worth the money &...

Cosy place but the staff seemed not to understand their own menu, we ordered the veg chow mein with crispy noodles, which was displayed as a choice on their menu, the meal was nice but we won't go back because we were charged £10.50 for 2 plates of plain crispy noodles that apparently we ordered as a side to the veg chow mein which had soft noodles. The manager then either lied to us or repeated a lie from their waitress that we specifically order extra noodles. Why would anyone order two plates of noodles and two sides of different plain noodles? We paid bc we were tired and cba arguing but should have just walked out, no wonder they have signs saying customers might have to...

Went today for a take out meal as I tried it last week and it was very tasty, decided to try the same food I bought last week, which was beef chop suey with chips included, spring rolls and a can which was 8.50 for 4 items. Fair enough. Ordered just the beef chop suey and chips and the spring rolls as I ve got drink at home, and the lady wanted to charge me 9.30 for the 3 items. The old Chinese started to "speak" as you couldn't understand what she was saying, I explained that last week 4 items were 8.50 and this week 3 items are 9.30, therefore something is wrong, she said that's what it is. I decided to leave as they were clearly overcharging me for whatever reason....
