Jungle Grill (Walton) — Restaurant in Liverpool

Just got an empire state burger, grilled halloumi, loaded fries and an explorers feast pizza 12”. Drive all the way from Huyton for it as it got recommended. I will not be going to this place ever again the halloumi was tiny and really chewy, the loaded fries well…. What was right about them burger was no were near what it looked like on the menu, the burger bun was soggy to much salad in it there was meant to be streaky bacon on it and it looked like donner meat. And as for the pizza the sausage on the pizza was meant to be spicy sausage, it was just a sausage what you got from a chippy cut up, the pizza was all crumbly didn’t use proper doe, the missus had one slice and didn’t want anymore. Will never ever go in there again the only time I will go in there is to get my money back…….. Tell me on one of these pictures that this isn’t donner...

What a strange experience…., I ordered the peri peri wrap (which was ok in itself albeit a little dry)at £5.50 and asked for it as a meal which was advertised at £1.50 extra (fries + drink). I was taken back slightly when the server asked for £9.73. Took me a few minutes until I tried to understand why. I asked the man and he just pointed at a very unclear and small section of the menu about adding peri fries, which is literally a sprinkle of peri salt on the top of your fries, probably costing them pennies but YOU THE CUSTOMER pays at extra £2.73 for a minor sprinkle of salt. What a joke !!! And to top it off the drink I receive was a GLASS bottle of coke which required a bottle opener which they DIDNT HAVE when I asked if they could open it for me . What a very very odd...

I eat here once a week, twice if my wife doesn't allow me to see the kids as its comfort food.

I mix it up each time, keep myself unpredictable. I remember when we first met, my wife. Sorry, ex wife. She said she liked men who are unpredictable. So I'm trying to show that I can be. Look Karen! I'm even writing a review in the middle of the afternoon while I should be working. Please just sort things out with me. I'll even let your boyfriend move in, I'll sleep on the couch. In the cellar. Anything.

The piri piri burger though simple is amazing by the way. And their wings can be hit or miss but never bad. Which just shows how nice this place is.
