This park is one of the largest and most beautiful in Liverpool. I absolutely love it and always enjoy my time there. It's conveniently located between Godsen Park, Everton Stadium, and Anfield, making it easily accessible. The park boasts serene small lakes and spacious areas perfect for walking, whether with a dog or children. There's a dedicated play area for kids, adding to its charm. It's an ideal spot to unwind and breathe in the fresh air, with stunning views to enjoy along the way. I highly recommend this park to anyone visiting Liverpool, whether you're here for a short trip or studying in the city. It's a wonderful destination to spend a weekend, and you can easily reach it by walking from the city centre.

This place has been a local haven for me during lockdown and a bereavement. It’s only 10 minutes walk from my front door, so very handy. It’s a great place for a walk at any time of the year. Personally, I like it in the Autumn & Winter. It has a lake which is frequented by numerous wild birds including; Mute Swans, Mandarin Ducks, Canadian Geese and occasionally a Heron. Fishing is allowed and most of the time the park stays open until late at night in the spring and summer and shuts earlier in the autumn and winter. There is a children’s play area and a coffee shop on site. Definitely one to visit at any time of the year.

This is my local green space and I've been coming here for over 60 years. People don't realise it's built on one of the city's high points. If you walk along Dahlia walk, next to Anfield Road you can see the Parbold hills. When I was there about 18 months ago artists were painting murals of the Liverpool team on the hoardings of Liverpool's new stand. Unfortunately they've taken them down now as the works have nearly finished. The gardens are well kept and well worth seeing in the summer. There's also the conservatory which was renovated a while ago and on the side of it there is a cafe if you fancy a cup of tea and a biscuit.

We met a friend at the café above the wedding venue. You can access the place by walking around the venue or by using the lift inside the venue, which we did. Both the venue and the café are absolutely beautiful. The tables are well spaced out for private conversation. We had breakfast in the café, a wonderful full English (including black pudding!) and eggs florentine on a muffin. If I could have licked my plate in public, I think I would have done so 😋😁 All the staff there is really friendly and helpful, which reflects the mentality of Liverpool perfectly :) Thank you 🙏

It's such a lovely park, loads of green space, beautiful trees, some nice gardens, gorgeous brigdes and bandstand type structures. Then came the lake, omg, the rubbish was terrible, everywhere you looked were discarded can, bottles, carrier bags, you name it we saw it. People leaving rubbish on benches, when there are plenty of bins. Even the rats 🐀 came out to eat. I know you get them in parks but if people didn't leave rubbish lying around, they may stay in the undergrowth til it was dark, we seen at least 2 in broad day light, not a bit scared.

Often visits here. Recently when i visit the park it was nice to see the flowers bloomed all over the park. This springtime season makes the park more beautiful and you can surely enjoy the scenic park atmosphere. Its good place for having a nice walk, expansive green spaces, anyone can visit here. Also the famous anfield stadium is very close to stanley park. Also it's a popular destination for locals and visitors alike, offering opportunities for leisurely strolls, picnics, and sports activities.
